Day 2 the unit is working perfectly. Seems much better made than actual Apple device. The cord is braided and hopefully it won’t become weak and damaged with constant everyday use. Great value if this unit lasts 6 months or more. Previous Apple units would show cord wear within a few months. I have a dozen Apple units that are no longer useable. Apple Store says it’s my use not their product that is faulty. I am very gentle with my use it is a poor quality if using the Apple unit. Highly recommend this product over the $70 unit made by Apple. This works perfectly with my IPad mini 6!

I have an iPad and I now can have it connected to an external monitor and charging at the same time.

Works on my MacBook
I have an other A1534 MacBook that only has a USC-C power port. I am able to use this as a power pass through and connect an HDMI external monitor as well. That’s what I needed. I haven’t used the USB-A port yet. A++

Way to stream on the go
Download show to streaming app, plug device in and watch downloaded shows on a tv and not your phone. DOES NOT WORK IF NOT DOWNLOADED. at least I have not figured out how to if I does.

Definitely great buy
OK, so I purchased this for my girlfriends galaxy S 24 ultra and when I upgraded to my iPhone 15 Pro Max, I found out that it can be used. Also on the same adapter must buy for anybody that has a USB-C connector flagship phone nonetheless won’t be disappointed. The charger connection point is definitely useful for charging your phone, but you don’t need to use it to use the device with the USB port as well. Also gives you the option to use flash drives or hard drives I definite choice for Camping or not having to pay for Internet or someone use your phone let’s go

Unstable connection kept disconnecting
This was supposed to maintain a solid connection to allow for streaming, but it kept disconnecting every couple of seconds. I wound up buying the original Apple version for fortune the price, and now the connection is super solid. There was initially a big problem with the color coming from the Apple adapter, because it was a much higher quality image in HDR, but after a few hours of battling against the color problems, now everything is working perfectly.

Worked very well
Needed to watch a live stream while in a hotel room, so ordered this little device. It did an excellent job coming off the S24 Ultra!!
