The Hikari Cichlid Gold Floating Pellets are a good buy. I have found that Amazon has a very good price for them. I have Amazon Prime, so I have the 2-day Free shipping on my orders.The Hikari Cichlid Gold pellets have always been a favorite by my cichlids. The floating ones stay afloat the whole time until they are gone. They do not cloud my tank water. My fish go after the pellets fairly quickly. The Hikari Cichlid Gold does seem to bring out more color than the regular Hikari Cichlid food.I recommend the Hikari Cichlid Gold because it does a good job with color, my fish love the food, it floats the whole time, it does not cloud my water.The price is very good on Amazon. I have Amazon Prime, and the 2-day Free shipping on your orders is very nice.Hikari is a trusted brand in the aquarium trade.

My fishes are 4-6 inches long and this has been the best food for them yet. These are little bigger then what I used to feed them before but they don’t seem to have problem with it. The diameter is about 0.4-0.5 cm so if your cichlids are very small, I do not recommend these, go for the small pallets. Will buy again since the fishes love em!

My Tiger Oscar fish love this stuff. I used this stuff to help encourage them to eat again after a internal parasite problem, because I read it was a good product. After they got better they started eating this stuff like crazy :) It helped bring back their color a lot. They partially jump out of the tank to get at it when I start feeding them :P My fish love it.

This is the second time ordering, glad they are still selling it. We noticed the colors really stand out and are vibrant on our fish. The food seems to fall apart a little more and more ends up at the bottom of the tank, than other brands. The fish will spit them out while eating and these fall apart right away letting more food fall to the bottom. Other brands seem to stay intact a little better.

Much cheaper than purchasing at the chain pet stores and my Oscars like the food. I never have dust or crumbled food in the bag.

I tried multiple brands of food for the oscars I have and up until now was not impressed. The Hikari ingredients keep my Cichids healthy and maintain optimum color and growth. The pellets don't cloud up my established tank which most brands claim to do but seldom deliver on. I don't have to worry about what to feed my fish anymore.

Whom ever said there were three bags for this product was misleading people, this includes the seller whom does not specify in the details. There's only 1 bag, just like in a store, for about the same price.

Stunning food for Cichlids of any kind. Colors in the fish turned bright as soon as I switched from cheaper pellets to Hikari. Medium sized pellets are perfect for my large oscar(11 inches) & severums (6-7) inches. But my flowerhorn (5inches) seems to eject some particles through his gills post munching on a pellet. So kight have a tendency to dirty the tank, especially if there are no bottom dwellers as cleanup crew.
