Leather Country Boot

Lovely boots, comfy, warm and keep your feet dry. Would recommend .
I ordered these as my Xmas present! I ordered size 6 to begin with, I think there is a bit of confusion with labelling! The size 6 were a European size 40 , which I thought was a size 7? So I returned and ordered a 5.5 which was actually a 39, or a 6 in my head anyway!!! and these fitted my size 6 feet perfectly! My feet are a bit flat and wide, but these boots are a lovely fit. Comfy from day one. I wanted something other than wellies for when I do the school run and it's tipping down with rain. These are perfect. They look good, keep my feet warm and dry and are comfy. Been out in the snow and the rain and the mud and no problems . Can't fault them at all. I looked at some that were a bit cheaper but not totally waterproof and some that were waterproof and are a lot more expensive and out of my budget. So these were the compromise. I just hope they last well and if they do then definitely a bargain. Very happy with purchase so far, only thing I would say is if you are buying , may need to try a couple of sizes. Definitely recommend them.

Fantastic dog walking boot
Update 2.5 years on: Just ordered second pair of these. The first pair were still waterproof but I stupidly nipped into garden in them with hot feet and no socks and the lining/innersole came out with my foot when I took them off! Could not seem to get it back in for love nor money but just couldn't live without them for dog walks on the beach and in long wet grass so quickly ordered a second pair. Remembered that the ankles feel really quite tight on first wearing but they soon loosen off. Managed to sort out the old pair eventuly to wear as spares but the foot where the innersole came out was no longer waterproof (my own fault!!) Great boots - will continue to buy (as needed!) 😀First review: Waited until I'd had these over a few seasons before writing the review. I had a pair of Dubarrys which I paid three times as much for and they leaked after just under three years. I contacted dubarry and got no reply so I decided I wanted to try find something cheaper that did the job just as well. Did a lot of research and bought these as got good reviews. I have loved these from day 1. I am a size 5 and I bought a 5. Certainly glad I didn't go any bigger. They felt slightly large but I have slim feet - I just wore two pair of socks (one thin and one hiking sock) and they felt OK after that so I went off on my normal three mile dog walk. They were unbelievably comfortable from the start and even after the torrential rain we've had this winter they have never leaked. They are quite slim round the calf which I like because I wear with skinny jeans and slim fit walking trousers but that might be an issue for some people. They might also be tight to get on and off for some folk (my sock always comes off when I take them off!!) but all in all really fantastic product I would definitely buy again.

A hard trek
I'm not an equestrian but spend a lot of time with with them and horses, all in the terrain they inhabit, sometimes for hours on end, frequently in cold and wet weather. Slowly, my wardrobe has come to resemble that of any enthusiastic equestrian as I came to realise their accepted uniform wasn't all about fitting in. However, I have really struggled with footwear, finding wellies uncomfortable to walk any distance in, hiking boots comfier but unable to keep feet perfectly dry in persistent rain and jodhpurs boots neither comfy nor the least bit waterproof! I had thought these were ladies boots but had seen a growing number of men wearing them and was advised they're unisex so thought I'd give them ago. And I'm glad I did. Getting them on and walking around in them takes a bit f getting used to - as I'd imagine walking in high heels would be, not that I've any intention of trying that! - but now I've gotten used to them and worn them in a bit they are great. I've walked for miles, stood around for hours, walked through stubble, ploughed, rutted and boggy fields all with a sure step, dry feet, warm but not over heated and they've been so comfortable I've driven home in them having forgot to remove them back at the car. Personal preference but I think they look particularly smart when worn with trousers over, the jeans tucked in looks far better on the ladies than it does me. I wasted a lot of money before finding these and having listened to the footwear woes of those with far more experience than me I'm confident I've made the right choice this time.

Nice boots.
As i have only had these boots a short time there is not too much i can say about them at the moment, but after reading the reviews regarding difficulty in getting them on the feet and blisters etc, just thought i would share my way around that problem.Instead of going off on a long walk i just put them on and clomped around the house for an evening, yes it was a bit of a fight getting, especially the right boot on but once that problem was out of the way they stayed on all evening until i went to bed, not a good idea to have worn them in bed but i suppose someone might attempt it especially if they are in for a kinky night, amyway the following day i put them on to take the dog for a walk and no problems at all, right boot still slightly tight to get on but othere than that, great. The first thing that struck me was just how warm they are, its almost like wrapping your feet in an electric blanket and to see if they were waterproof i walked through the river at the end of my garden and my feet remained dry, yesterday i took the dog for his once a week long walk and the boots felt so comfortable, i cannot fault them at all, will update this review after a year or so which should give an idea as to how long i would expect them to last.
