Dog Approved -- Tastes great!!
If you're looking for an effective and natural way to improve your dog's dental health, the Vets Preferred Dog Toothpaste is an excellent choice. This enzymatic toothpaste is specifically designed to clean your dog's teeth, freshen their breath, and fight plaque and tartar buildup, all while providing a delicious and irresistible peanut butter flavor that your furry friend will love. One of the things that makes this toothpaste so effective is its enzymatic formula. The natural enzymes in the toothpaste work to break down and remove harmful bacteria and plaque from your dog's teeth and gums, leaving their mouth feeling clean and fresh. And unlike some other toothpaste products on the market, the Vets Preferred Dog Toothpaste is completely safe and natural, so you can feel confident that you're not exposing your pet to any harmful chemicals or ingredients. Another great thing about this toothpaste is that it's incredibly easy to use. Simply apply a small amount of the toothpaste to your dog's toothbrush or finger brush, and then brush their teeth and gums as you would normally. And with the delicious peanut butter flavor, your dog will actually look forward to brushing their teeth, making the whole process a lot easier and more enjoyable for both you and your pet. But perhaps the best thing about the Vets Preferred Dog Toothpaste is the results that it can provide. After using this toothpaste for just a few weeks, my dog's teeth were noticeably cleaner and fresher, and his breath was significantly improved. And as someone who is very particular about their pet's dental health, I was thrilled to see such great results. Overall, I would highly recommend the Vets Preferred Dog Toothpaste to anyone who wants to improve their pet's dental health in a safe and natural way. With its enzymatic formula, delicious peanut butter flavor, and ease of use, this toothpaste is an excellent choice for anyone who wants to keep their furry friend's teeth and gums healthy and clean. So if you're looking for a reliable and effective toothpaste for your dog, be sure to give this one a try – your pet will thank you!

Solid product.
Both huskies find this toothpaste acceptable. They actually allow me to brush their teeth until they get annoyed 10 seconds later.

The only toothpaste my dog likes.
My dog has always had terrible teeth. SInce we started using this toothpaste his vets have said that his teeth don't have as much tarter. The texture is a bit oily but I make sure to shake it and at the end of the bottle I do have to cut it open to get the last bits of it out. Lasts about 3 months with daily brushing for a medium dog.

As I try to pull his toothbrush away, he leans forward to keep licking it.
We have a 6 1/2-year-old Labradoodle. I have brushed his teeth before bed every night since he was a puppy. I have ordered different dog toothpastes over the years. After squeezing a small layer of toothpaste on top of his toothbrush, I tap my left thigh, and he'll come sit right beside my knee. He tolerates me lifting the side of his lip so that I can slide his Oral-B toothbrush along his teeth as best I can. When I try to brush his back molars once in a while; he still balks and "gags." I can only brush his front and bottom teeth if I briefly clasp his open bottom jaw with my fingers and quicky do a "scrub" along and behind those teeth. What helps a lot is that he is anxious to taste this Vet's Preferred Advanced Enzymatic Toothpaste. I think he likes the supposed peanut butter flavor. I'll stop brushing so he can periodically lick the paste around his mouth. He also enjoys licking the toothbrush so much that he slides down to lay on my feet as I hold the toothbrush for him. I'll turn it on each side so he can lick all around it. Many times, he's so into it that as I try to pull the toothbrush away, he leans forward to keep licking it. If you research the ingredients in this enzymatic toothpaste, they appear to be perfectly safe. I just wish the 3 oz. tube was a little bigger. I recommend this product for dogs.

She LOVES it
My dog LOVES ONLY this brand. She will not let me brush with any other. Has to be the PB too…

My dog tolerates it very well!
My dog MiMi is diabetic so I need oral hygiene items that can be tolerated by her body…and this one ‘fits the bill’. It does not smell like peanut butter BUT dogs have a much keener sense of smell so she’s getting the underlying scent that she associates with PB so that’s important (she can’t have PB due to its high fat content). Because of her diabetes, one major concern is dental diseases so I know I must brush them. She hates having her teeth brushed w/a toothbrush so I use a wash cloth and squeeze this tooth paste on one and rub her teeth firmly. MiMi sits through this quite well (note, I only brush her teeth every 2 to 3 days) and when it’s over, she gets lots of “you’re such a good girl”❣️ Bonus I have this on subscription so it’s easier than going to a pet store plus it less expensive.

For Smart and Not-So-Smart Dogs
I've bought this twice from Amazon because when I try to buy it from Chewy's I get the following message: "Because of state regulations, we can’t ship this item to Texas." So, I don't know why all the other dogs in America are allowed to have clean teeth and fresh breath. My husky says its a plot to make all the Tx dogs' teeth fall out and force them onto liquid vegan diets. He thinks dogs will eventually become "the new cow". My border collie just rolls her eyes. (She's the smart one.)
