I ordered this to clean LC fibres as I didn't have one and although I don't come across LC fibres a lot they are increasingly becoming the norm in high speed networks as nodes become more compact.Upon testing it certainly appears to do the job nicely and it clicks positively and you can change from normal to extended clean. I don't have an optical microscope I can use to examine LC connectors but I trust it is doing what it ought to.

The clean clicker didn’t work. The clean clicker made the ports and fibres dirtier than they were before I started.

Super handy to have if you work with fibre of have it at home.
I recently did some decorating and a lot of dust was created, this cleaner lets me make sure that no dust is in the fiber connectors or on the ends of cables.The mechanism is very cool, using a string that pokes out and rotates to clean the end of the fiber.Shall be keeping it handy in case any issues show up in the future that can be solved by a quick clean. Will probably last me a lifetime with so many cleans!
