Improved walker security,
A friend replaced both brakes on my walker and it now feels more secure than it did when new. The parts fit perfectly and were replaced at a very reasonable price. So, if the brakes on your walker are frayed and not locking in place please consider replacing just the brakes and not the walker. Much less expensive. Thanks, JH

No instructions
Schematics, instructions and a list of tools would have made this easier. My MIL's Hugo needed repair. I ended up using the spring from the previous cable the new one wasn't working out.I didn't have enough hands. I found a clamp holding the brake to the wheel made the job easier. Additional tools were a Phillips head screwdriver, an Allen wrench and needle nose pliers.

Works Fine on Medline Guardian Rollator
On the plus side it was a near perfect replacement on my wife's Medline Guardian rollator. It wasn't all that easy to install, and limited instructions. For the Medline remove the rubber grip handle, use large pliers to twist/push off; take off 3 screws from the old brake with Philips screwdriver, I could only remove 2 but brake piece easily slide off; Cut cable and pull cable out from bottom; Put on new brake on handle, and run the new cable down towards wheel, look at other side and attach in similar fashion, you'll need pliers to snug cable securely, then an Allen wrench to tighten cable down and a small wrench to adjust small lower nut to adjust/tighten brake cable ... this part took me the longest with several attempts to adjust the brake, but it worked; Tap back on rubber handle bar by tapping with a hammer; put small cap on end of cable at bottom. Please note this is my experience on a Medline Guardian, and may not apply to your particular model. It is a DIY, but not all that easy which is why I took off a star. It was better than buy a new rollator if you're handy.

This is a good replacement.
Ordered just the cable to fix a walker brake, but it didn't fit. Got this instead and it works perfect.
