Finally a Christmas album from Cher. It's upbeat and very much Cher's style. I highly recommend this one

Nice/different variant from the usual red Christmas vinyl out there. At first I didn’t know how I would feel about listening to Cher sing Christmas songs and now it’s become one of my favorite Christmas albums. You can play this all the way through without having to skip any songs.

Loved about half the album but the other songs not so much. Definitely not your traditional versions.

After reading initial reports for this album my concern was that this was going to be “Believe” but with bells. I’ve never liked “Believe” or that whole techno dance sound. This album does have a bit of that sound, but then it also has a classic Christmas sound. It’s a weird mix that works so well. The standout track for me is her version of “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” done here with Darlene Love who sang the original with a young, unknown at the time, Cher on background vocals. Celebrate the season with Cher, this album will set the mood.

Hab Cher's Auftritt zuletzt bei Wetten dass gesehen. Sie war das einzige Highlight einer peinlichen Show. Zurück in Amerika war sie in diversen TV- Shows zu sehen, wo sie Lieder vom neuen Album präsentierte. Die Musik Welt, und natürlich ihre Fans feiern Cher und ihr aktuelles Album, ihr erstes Christmas Album.Und das rockt erfreulich. Die Klassiker sucht man hier vergeblich. Auch schön. Ein paar Duette sind eingestreut. Cindy Lauper ist auch unverwechselbar. Und die ewig junge Cher hat ihre Album Pause mit diesem flotten Christmas Album beendet. Der Opener DJ Play A Christmas Song hat Hitpotenzial. Und auf der Bühne sieht Cher eher wie ne End Vierzigerin aus, zieht die Fans vor allem mit ihrer immer noch kräftigen Stimme in den Bann. Und fit sieht sie aus. Immer noch sexy. Man ist eben so alt wie man sich fühlt. Und Cher fühlt sich wohl. Wie sie das macht weiß ich auch nicht. Alleine an diversen Eingriffen auf dem OP Tisch liegts jedenfalls nicht. Sie trotzt dem Alter, sieht toll aus und ist wieder zurück. Hammer! Möge sie mich noch lange begleiten.
