Maelstrom Diaper Backpack, 30L Gray

Best diaper bag I’ve ever purchased and 3 kids later, after 20+ diaper bag tries, this is it! Holds so much! Is perfect for an overnight or weekend trip with baby or just overall every day use to keep the essentials all on hand. It’s got 3-5 whole outfits, 10 diapers, a full pack of wipes, 3 swim diapers, a whole slew of possible needed medicine, syringes, oils, lotions, plus 2 blankets and 2 receiving blankets, 2-3 bibs, some sunscreen and isn’t even expanded yet. It looks great, can be thrown in the wash on cold and dry on low tumble and heat. Hands down the biggest and best. Also, nice thick straps so it doesn’t hurt your back or shoulders, and I forgot it also has his booger sucker and nail clippers in it too!

I’m really happy with this bag. It's sold as a baby bag but it actually works really well as an easy to clean travel bag for an adult. It has a great combination of interior and exterior pockets to organize clothes, electronics and toiletries and has both security pockets and quick access convenience pockets so it’s great for short trips or day outings. The main compartment has open mouth stretch pockets, sleeve pockets and a couple of zippered “wet pockets” to store items that could leak. It includes interior bottle holders and has an expansion zipper on the outside of the bag that grows the main compartment a full 2 inches deeper. The smaller (not small) front compartment works great as a snack stash zone for road trips - 3 thermal pockets designed for baby bottles can hold chilled soda cans or bottled sport drinks and it has a zippered mesh pocket to keep snack bars and such organized. To secure your valuables, when worn as a backpack, there is a hidden zippered pocket against your back and can’t be accessed until you take off the pack. The front side has a second discrete zippered pocket that is very deep and can be used to hold a tablet or other valuables so you can get into it from the outside but it can’t easily be “picked“ in a crowd. Both of these pockets discreetly tuck the zipper tag out of view but all of the zippers have easy to grab tabs (even by my older, less nimble fingers). The front has a no zip quick access pocket I use for a pen, paper, maps, etc. Another quick access feature I like is the side pocket that has a slit opening so you can get fast access to baby/hand wipes or a travel sized box of tissues without digging around inside the big compartments. The other external side pocket is elasticized so it can hold various sizes of water bottles. It is well made from quality materials and with extra stitching at key stress points like the shoulder straps, tote handles and outside pockets. The interior is made of easy to clean materials and the outside is heavy duty cloth that will hold up over time. The zippers are smooth to open and close and have big enough grab tabs find them quickly.

We have tried several diaper bags and honestly, none of them compare to this one. This one has everything you need: - spacious - lots of pockets for organization - comfort - efficient design We can fit in it: - diapers - wipes - diaper cream - portable phone charger (also comes with cord to plug your charger into) - changing pad (came with the bag) - wet bag (also came with the bag) - sound machine with carrying case - pouch for spare clothes - pouch for medicine - toy book for baby - formula container - burp cloths - bibs All of this and then some and the bag still doesn't feel overly heavy and we still have plenty of room. I highly recommend. The bottom front pouch is also detachable and comes with a strap to transition to a crossbody! I took this pouch off because we didn't need it and it made it fit better in our backseat. I love this bag! It's a great price, sturdy material, functions well and is exactly what we needed.

This backpack is very large! It has a lot of room and plenty of pockets for most things you may need when going outside with the kids. I was surprised by the build quality. It reminds me of my trusty Swiss Gear backpack, especially the back padding and the hidden pocket in the back. The straps are sturdy and have hooks for carabiner. The padding is thick, which will hopefully make it easier on my back when it is fully loaded. And if more room is needed, this backpack expands! There is a zipper similar to the one found on carry on luggage that once unzipped gives you an extra inch or soo of roo inside. This makes this backpack massive! I honestly don't thing I will ever need that much room, but it's there if I do. The front pouch can be detached and is held by velcro and plastic buckles. The only downside I can think of is these plastick buckes. They are thin and feel flimsy but the velcro helps to alleviate the load on them, so let's see how they hold up. The backpack also has a USB to USB adapter in case you have a power back inside the backpack and need to charge something on the outside. I found this pretty useless for my needs though. Most other backpacks have simply an opening where you can pull a cable through. That would have been an easier and more universal option. Overall a good backpack. The color pattern turned out to be a bit more "in your face" childish but the kids love, so I'll have to wear it

I love this diaper bag!! The side pocket easily fits my 40oz flask unlike any other bag I’ve used. There are enough pockets for me to put all the little things I like to carry, so no need for my own separate bag/purse. I like that it has the expand option. I have one toddler now and can fit everything great, but we are expecting baby #2 in May so I wanted a bag that would fit for both kids. The bag is nice and compact while still being able to fit everything for my one kid with the expander closed. When the expander is opened, the space is huge! I was so pleased with it. There will definitely be enough space to hold all of the baby’s things in addition to my toddler's. I really like that this bag came with the wet clothes/dirty diaper bag. We travel a lot and used to carry plastic bags with us for dirty clothes/diapers, but I’m excited to now have something that will get more uses out of it and be more durable. We haven’t used the stroller straps yet, but they seem to have a good design and will hold up better than our last one. The bag itself is good quality and doesn’t break your back wearing it. It has good support and feels more lightweight. Definitely a great purchase!

I have 2 kids so I need a big bag with lots of pockets for ease of use and organization. Though it was very big, this bag just didn't do it for me. I returned this bag before using it so I can't say whether it's durable or easy to clean, etc. But I think there's a few specific design flaws. I didn't like that the smaller bag in the front is held on by velcro. It's a nice idea for those that need that pocket for baby bottles, I guess. But I'm a breastfeeding mother so I wouldn't even use it for that purpose. The problem with the velcro is twofold: it's hard to line up the velcro bits perfectly and it was annoying, just testing it out. The other problem is velcro collects hair like nothing else. My whole family has lots of hair. I know this would drive me crazy to have velcro covered in hair on the outside of my pristine bag. I would suggest to the manufacturer to have a zipper attachment, rather than velcro. The price was right, since it's very likely the largest backpack diaper bag on the market when in its fully expanded. And it was a little cheaper with the coupon discount offered on the Amazon app. I just wish it expanded into 2 large pockets (rather than just the one huge pocket). Other twin baby bags expand into 2 pockets, which I prefer, so I can have a designated pocket for my son and another large pocket for my daughter. That design change would make this bag much easier to use for moms with multiple children. I liked that the bag was overall larger than the standard backpack diaper bag size. It feels more adult size. It's nice that the size is dispersed across a larger surface area, rather than other bags that are just deeper. It's longer and wider than the standard backpack diaper bag and, when expanded, it's also deeper. Again, if there were more pockets for better organization, it would be a more ideal bag. My insulated 32 oz water bottle fit perfectly in the outside side pockets, which is something I specifically look for in a diaper bag. The zippers opened and closed smoothly. It also came with a diaper changing pad and a detachable pocket for a pacifier. My baby doesn't use pacifiers so it's not a bonus for me but I'm sure it would be extra nice for moms that have babies who use pacifiers. I gave 4 stars because the problems I have with it might not be problems for other moms. I just wanted to give my detailed description to help moms make an easier purchase decision. I've looked at several dozen bag descriptions and I've bought several bags, most of which I've returned because the descriptions and pictures often aren't as helpful as just trying it out, myself. Maybe this review will be more helpful to future buyers.

diaper bag is amazing! there is so much storage, i have an almost 2y/o and a 2month old and can fit all their things inside with ease! i love the removable pouch! its perfect to put snacks in for my toddler or diapers for quick changes when running around town! so far the only issue i’ve had is overfilling it and making it hard on my back to carry😅 my partner loves the backpack style diaper bags and this one has exceeded expectations!

This bag is HUGE!!!! There is so much space and so many pockets and places to put bottles and sippy cups, at least 7. The front pocket is detachable and comes with a strap to turn into a smaller bag or purse. This smaller bag also has a waterproof pocket for anything you might want to carry that could leak. The largest or main pocket has a zipper that allows you to expand the pocket at least 2 more inches. The straps are very padded and there is padding in the back for comfort while carrying bag. The back also has a sneaky hidden pocket to hide more valuable things. There is a changing pad and an awesome waterproof bag to put the changing pad into in case of yucky messes. Nice pocket for a laptop and port for charging cord. Cute little bag for spare pacifiers or change purse attaches to the top. Bag is very nice looking and sturdy. I got the light grey color and it has light blue stitching and is classy looking, and doesn’t look like a diaper bag. I think it could also be used for other purposes like camera bags or school bags.

Es muy práctica, le cabe mucho y puedes llevar todo lo que necesitas, solo es un poco pesada pero fuera de eso es linda.

Funciona súper bien como pañalera, cuenta con sus ganchos para colgar a la carriola, siento que el material es bueno, se ve resistente, muy amplia, con bastantes compartimentos y los colores son tal cual la publicidad, me llegó bien empacada, la súper recomiendo 😊
