But… the question is about how to disconnect the threaded end of the short hose from the faucet. It may be necessary to remove the faucet from the sink to get to that part that secures the short hose to the faucet … and you need a wrench that can access that nut to unscrew it and then expose the 4 hoses, including the short replacement hose and the hot and cold hoses, and the long hose carrying the water. (I have a photo but Amazon allows only videos.) However, other customers have said that the short hose does not have to be replaced if the only leak is in the longer hose. So I looked at reviews for the hose only – it seems the replacement hose might be thicker and thus difficult to push-pull through the faucet.
