Sturdy and dependable
I remember buying one a solid 10 years ago when these were still powered by hard-to-find camera batteries, but these newer AAA versions are easier to find batteries for and just as durable as before. It's watertight, light lasts a long time, hard to crush, and all that. I keep a couple on my backpack for camping and we also used it last week during a power outage up here in the Northeast.
