The silicone on these feels great in quality and the lid stays on fine if you keep the trays flat and level. Each cube has a fill line which helps you not to overfill the tray. They freeze pretty slow in my deep freezer, but I imagine in a regular refrigerator freezer they would freeze at a good pace! The cubes freeze into perfectly square pieces that are very easy to slide out! Just push the bottom of the tray and they slide out like butter. Just be careful carrying the trays after you fill them with water, they can be somewhat flimsy and awkward to carry since its large and made of silicone. Great cube tray for freezing ice or leftover liquid like broth. Easy to clean and each cube is conveniently 1/2 cup so it makes measuring easy. Only complaint is that the lid doesn't really stay on.
