Gorgeous item.I bought this medallion for my costume as a pirate for the Renaissance Festival. The item is actually a more detailed and realistic depiction of an Aztec calendar than the one from the Pirates of the Caribbean movie which is more stylized to Aztec art and simpler. This one is double-sided in a golden aged brass color. The leatherette cord is simple and cheap but no problem. This is an excellent and heavyweight medallion for the money. The length of the cord hangs the pendant to just below collar level, above the chest: so definitely longer than a 20" cord. The size is about the size of a half dollar coin.

These are really impressive. I bought one for each grandchild. I can't wait to see their expressions when I give them to them. They're hefty without being really heavy. The design is very precise; the antique bronze is authentic looking. I'm very happy with these!

Awesome looking necklace and has a good weight to it. The downside is that it has more of a brass color rather than gold.But a great product otherwise.

Very cool; heavy weight

Bought this for a Halloween costume and it worked great. It's pretty solid and made out of metal. Looks like the ones from the movie. Just check the knot on the necklace and make sure it's tied tight. This was an awesome accessory for the Captain Jack Sparrow costume. Hope this review helps.

Solid weight, good quality, and looks authentic. A bit pricy, but a great costume piece to have to round out the halloween pirate look.
