Brother's Love9317 Moustache Gel Clear 10ml

About 20 years ago, I grew my first moustache that needed waxing. I used Clubman Neutral, until it grew so long that a firmer hold was needed, so I moved to Brother's Love.Then I shaved off the moustache and now, a couple of decades later, I've grown another.In those 20 years, hipsters and social media has meant that the moustache/male grooming industry has EXPLODED. You can now buy all sorts of different products - most featuring a made-up individual with an outlanding name and with vaguely steampunk nods, like "Captain Horatio Buzzknees's Avuncular Gentlemen's Grooming Tonic", or similar.In such a crowded marketplace, it is reassuring to know that not only is Brother's Love unchanged in formula, but it's also one of the strongest holds on the market. Uncoloured, pleasantly scented (I know this is subjective) and exceptionally strong, this is a very impressive and long-lasting wax.

Watched a video on YouTube, which reviewed this, and bought it on the strength of that review. It arrived today, and I tried it for the first time this evening. So far, it's looking very promising. It's been in for a number of hours now, and is still holding the shape. Also, unlike a wax, I found it really easy to just get from tube to 'tache, and there's absolutley no sticky nonsense when it comes to washing the hands. It just washes clean off, which for years has been a major gripe of mine with some waxes, especially the strongholds. I know it's still very early days, but I'm going to stick my neck out and give it a hearty 8/10 (only not going to a 9/10 or a 10/10, as it is only my first application, and don't want to give false glories). :-)

This is an interesting one....it certainly has some serious hold and does the job very well, however as the type of wax that dries out the hairs it is difficult to brush it out without having a lot of flecks...which is annoying. The scent is interesting, personally I quite like the fact that it smells clean as opposed to all other waxes that basically smell like a Victorian library. Other people might think it smells like toilet cleaner...

so easy to use...holds style in place almost instantly....lasts all day.. it's the best of the many I've tried.

I regularly buy this product from Togal, It is a very very good product for moustaches, it has excellent hold, has a short amount of drying time so your not trying to keep the style in place for ages and a little goes a long way.The smell is pleasant without being petrol or oil based.The only complaint I would have is that it only comes in 10ml tubes - a 25 ml tube would be useful too.

Good strong hold

It doesn’t hold at all. Actually my moustache stays better without it. I am really disappointed with this item and the fact that you can not return the item should have triggered red lights for me. It just proves that the seller has no faith in the product

This is a difficult one. The product is amazing. However, the delivery service is close to non existent. Well past the expected date. This was purchased late August & I’m still waiting for it!
