If you haven't messed up your rotors, this job will take less than an hour. Of course you fix stuff at your own risk.Fun Fact (I can't find on the web): New Pad thickness is 9.5mm. The pad is smooth, no cut measuring grooves (unlike the fronts).(I used the extending measuring pin (out of frame) on the caliper in the picture to measure the pad thickness)These pads fit just like OEM on the back of my 2013 Jeep Wrangler Sahara, because they are!After you remove the wheel, you will need some silicone brake grease, a larger flat blade screwdriver, a 13mm socket, and a 15mm wrench to do the job.Pry the caliper with the screwdriver to spread the pads and push the piston back into the caliper. DO ONE SIDE AT A TIME! Remove the caliper and switch out the old shoes and guides (pay attention to where the noise maker pads go). Put in the new pads and included guides. Put some new grease on the slide pins and reassemble. Pump the brakes AS YOU FINISH EACH SIDE so you don't push too much brake fluid back into the reservoir by having both pistons hyper retracted simultaneously. (and also so you don't drive away with the brake pads away from the rotors and have a very low brake pedal for a few stops).This job requires minimal tools and is faster than driving to the brake mechanic and waiting for it to be done there.If you find this info useful, please hit the appropriate button so more people see it.
