Ok, this review is written after having used these boots for an average of 50 hours a week for roughly 8 months.Context. I work as a yard (mix of concrete/asphalt and internal hard floor) marshal for an online grocery delivery supermarket. I average 22,000 steps per 10 hour shift, so for me comfort is paramount along with a safety toe cap and ankle support.These boots come with a Vibram bottom layer sole which honestly look like theyve hardly been used! My previous work boots without Vibram soles never last more than a year. These WILL last at least 3 years. I'm extremely confident on that.The mid sole is some springy, cushiony foam type thing and the insole is some antibacterial antifatigue which does a good job. These may need replacing in a couple of months.What this means is that the boot is EXTREMELY comfortable. I have no complaints after a long day of being on my feet.These boots were actually a 2nd choice becuase my first choice were not in stock on Amazon and had no restock date available. I bit the bullet and do not regret my decision at all.Oh, the boots are waterproof up to the bottom of your ankle as the tongue is like a one piece so if you water does not readily get inside. I have tested this by wearing the boots in the shower. As a test. Of course.If you need boots for hiking, safety work boots, I would recommend these whole heartedly.
