Seiko, the home of the oldest and prestigious Japanese watches, is now focused on innovation and sophistication. The Seiko watch is designed as a small jewel personal and intimate. The watches are those harmonious with the environment and the wearer, and their functions offer a reassuring and exciting feeling. Review: Quality and Value - Have had this almost a year and it's been keeping perfect time so far. A very good price for a mechanical timepiece at £99.00, although at time of writing this review, I notice that it's gone up quite a bit! Strongly luminescent for plain legibility in the dark, with the lume delicately applied to the silvery chrome of the numbers and fingers of the watch with a very satisfying precision. The "sword" shape of the fingers is not exactly what I wanted, but you can't have everything. The silver against the black dial is a very pleasing and stark contrast which again increases legibility (important to me because my eyes are not so good close up without my glasses). The large size of the numerals is a big plus in that department. The crystal is pretty tough as it's still completely without chips or scratches despite a good few knocks over the months I've had it (worn every day and all day). The metal wrist band goes well with the watch and is a very good fit after adjustment. It will probably last as long as the watch. Not waterproof, and not sold as such, but it's not going to stop because of rain or washing your hands. Just don't go swimming with it on, or take it into the shower! I like the simplicity of the design and the size. It's not so big that you are always aware if it, but it's big enough to be perfectly readable. The day of the week and the day of the month display at a decent size but do take out the number 3 from the dial display. The automatic wind will keep the watch going overnight and most of the next day, if you leave it off your wrist. Review: Snk/snx Seiko. Bargain price and great company to do business with. 🙂🙂🙂 - Brilliant watch. I bought this as a new but good, and it was fantastic. I bought 3 others. These are Seiko and discontinued 7s26 movements. They are brilliant though and the movement signed Seiko. I have 2 others. They are full of good dials and vintage smaller size which I regard as excellent. The movement doesn't hack or wind but they are really good watches. Nice field watch for general wearing. Waterproof only to 100ft though, but if that is not an issue depending on what you are doing with it. 🙂

It’s an automatic Seiko.
It’s an automatic Seiko, it looks good, it fits well and is a good timekeeper.

Almost perfect.
a nice little watch this. Great easy to read dial - that maybe could have done with the numbers being just a "tad" smaller. Lovely automatic movement but it does suffer from accuracy drift over a few days - but with time you could get it adjusted to keep more accurate time. You can hardly hear the rotor spinning - I have a seiko kinetic that definitely likes to make its present felt when it is self winding - but this one is lovely and quiet in operation! It loses a star ultimately because it's non hackable - i.e. you cannot stop the second hand - so accurate time setting is not really possible - but it is a great everyday wear. luminosity performance is great - if a bit short lived - not too heavy. Not too big either in this day and age where massive watches for men seem to be all the rage. This would even make a great watch for a larger framed woman with a larger than average wrist. The crystal is Seiko's mineral glass and in my exprience it does well but 'CAN' be scratched - if it does I will change it for a sapphire crystal and that would be realtively easy to do as it's a nice flat piece of standard size.

Never kept the right time.
This watch appeared to be great value for money, but unfortunately it has never kept the correct time. As an automatic watch it kept stopping at night. We returned the watch and was told there was nothing wrong with it. We have now returned it to Seiko as it doesn't work. So not good value for money as we still don't have a watch...

A Mac V Sog inspired Seiko5
It's a great daily watch. Accuracy is pretty good, running +/- 8 seconds per day for 7s26 movement. Watch size is perfect and legibility is fantastic. And pretty good strap monster. Anyone interested should grab one while it is available.

Great watch
I brought this for my 11 year old son and he loves it. Unfortunately the bracelet is too big for him with all the links remove and the smallest setting, it’s probably for a 6” wrist at a minimum. The watch looks great on third party straps though. I think I actually prefer it to my similar but much more expensive Hamilton Automatic.

Superb value for money!
Classic case size and approx +1/2 second fast per day. I wear it both day and night. Charged lume lasts about 5 hours. Did the "Seiko Shuffle" the day it arrived and never had it stop on me after owning it for a month now. Strap is cheap and a bit jangly and can pull the odd arm hair, I might get a quality leather strap for it. Large numerals make it easy to read even with ageing eye sight. Brilliant value for money. The new range of Seiko5 are almost twice the price!

Compra maestra. Parece mentira calidad precio.

Underrated Watch. Perfect size for smaller wrists. This field watch has an amazing history (Vietnam War). The lume is excellent and accuracy +/- 2 seconds per day. I love it prefer to wear it over my Rolex explorer.

This is my favorite watch so far. I never had a Seiko before and I wish I did. This watch looks and feels great and it's very easy to read time off of. Despite what some people say I really like the metal bracelet. it's light and feels great , though I will say it's very prone to scratch and damage. it's also very difficult to resize without proper tools. I had to use all my strength to take out the chain link pins to resize as they seem overly tight. I think this should be everyone's first watch. Pros: - Light and perfect Case diameter size - beautiful design, arabic numerals easy to read - an actual amazing mechanical automatic watch - exhibition glass caseback - good accuracy & power reserve - excellent value Cons: - Bracelet is too long and irritates skin - no hand winding Edit: After a month of use now I must say I'm not very happy with the bracelet. firstly it's a bit too long for such a watch, even with resizing it's still a bit big for my 6" wrists. it also has the tendancy to pull on my hairs which is painful.
