I use multiple lights in my art studio and I need to use diffusers to reduce the shadows while I work. I have umbrellas which are kind of cumbersome so I figured I’d try these. They do appear a little flimsy but they fit over my 11” lights just fine without tearing. They just don’t diffuse quite as well as the umbrellas. Best for the lights that are farther away but for ones closer to where you work you still kind of have a spotlight.

I ordered the Fotoconic White Diffusers for my two pairs of photography lights that came with a light box. My reflectors measure 9.5" in diameter and these white diffusers from Fotoconic fit perfect. I was worried it wouldn't fit but it was able to stretch out and fit around the reflectors. I'm not sure if these light diffusers can fit a 10" reflector since it was a tight fit with my lights with very little allowance left. The Fotoconic diffusers does a great job at spreading out and softening harsh light. I've got a 300+ led light I use on my video camera when I shoot weddings. The light is a bit harsh as leds tend to be so I got these to soften things. They make a bigger difference than I thought. My light range is significantly reduced but with much less glare. I just run the light at a higher brightness and it looks so much better. Quality is a bit cheap so we'll see how long they last.

Poor stitching on the elastic made for a ripped light sock. I'd pay for the more expensive ones next time.

We have 5000K LED lamps. The light was too direct and would cause bright spots. These things look cheap but they worked like a charm. Diffuses the light perfectly. Nice low cost solution. We used them on some cheap lamp fixtures we bought locally.

I have 7" lamps and needed help to diffuse the light when doing video shoots to reduce the glare and give me an even spread. These socks are perfect and portable. They fit great and it is one less bulky item I have to worry about storing somewhere. Great addition to my lighting equipment.

These are great! I used them on some simple hardware store clamp lights one is 6" with a standard bulb, I had to secure the excess with a small clip but it works just the same. The other is stretched to the limit on a 10 or 12?inch "brooder" lamp with a flood style bulb installed.They are used as my face lighting for my streaming camera setup(Sony a6000>elgato hd60 pro) and gives me nice soft shadows and really helped cut down on my eye strain. I paired these lamps and diffusers with Feit electric wifi tunable led bulbs for great color and light control from my android device.They came pretty wrinkled, but a careful low heat ironing could fix that if it's an issue for you.
