An enexpensive. Solution to putting oil in your transmission

Shops are always happy to check the transmission fluid until they find out there's not a dipstick, and then it goes unchecked.The engineers at FMC were feeling particularly quirky the day they designed the "put your ride on a lift, put in neutral, start the engine to warm the fluid, and then try to not burn yourself when you check it via the standpipe on the bottom of the car."This improves upon the standpipe concept by adding an easy capacity to fill with the attached connector.Great concept and will be put to use soon, given all the clunky shifting I'm doing.Four stars because it *looks* like the extra transmission plug I have from FMC, but the threads don't look like a direct match. Not sure what's going on there and not too anxious to do a full drain to find out. We shall see when the time comes.

This is actually more usable than I thought. It basically adds a drain plug to the drain plug "so you can drain while you drain". That's pretty straight forward. Just swap the regular drain plug and replace it with the Sheisor. The quality is okay. Nothing fancy but good enough.Problem is that it adds another thread which tend to lead. To address the issue I recommend thread sealant tape for the 'master' bolt.To be clear: This can be used to drain or fill pretty much anything with an M14 thread. So feel free to adapt.I really like this. Five stars from me. I hope this helps to make a decision.
