Haven't had this long enough to give it five stars. So far, I have no complaints. I always thought dehydrating food would be difficult; however, this is quite easy. Cut up the fruit or vegetables and arrange on trays and forget about it for eight hours. It is as quiet as advertised. My produce came out crispy--my choice. I like the many screens because that is my preferred way to use it. Cleanup so far has been wipe and go.

As my title says, It's a piece of garbage and only worked once. I used it once after it arrived and it was fine. It was packed away, due to life changes, and not used for a few years. The second time I used it, it ran about 10 minutes and stopped. Nothing I did could make it heat and the fan run. Do not buy this as it does not last or work more than a few times. Try using your oven, if you can set it to 150-170 degrees, you have no need for this device.

We have only used this to make beef jerky so far and it's worked great! I plan to use it for drying fruit & making home made fruit rolls up. Can't wait to try that feature out!
