A: I believe it should state 8'x1"X1".   It's 8' long and the tubing is about 1" wide and 1" deep when not compressed.

A: Yes, this one does work, but you can eliminate 2 cut pieces by using the Tailgate Seal with Taper Seal for Ford vehicle specific kit, search ASIN: B0B5Y9MFCK. The install directions can also be found at TailgateSeal.com

**Q: How do you double it up for large gaps? guessing you put the seal on each mating surface? needed for a 2004 f250 super duty.**
A: This kit will work as it contains a piece of large tailgate seal (not pictured). This was recently added so that it can seal all pickup tailgate configurations that are not listed on TailgateSeal.com.
