The most important feature that I didn't favor with my smart mugg is the reheating and charging option to reheating my beverage when in comparison to a previous electric travel coffee mug that I purchased from Amazon. I can't recall the brand of my previous coffee mug,but,with the previous mug,I could use this mug with a simple plug in to the vehicle cigarette lighter output and my mugg gets hot in no time no matter the time of day. With the smart mugg,I can charge it fully overnight. When I pour my first cup in the morning into the mugg,and save some coffee for later,when I want to reheating the coffee at around 1pm eastern time I will have to wait until the coffee mug recharges to reheating the coffee and can sometimes take over an hour. Whereas my previous coffee mug from a different brand,no matter the time of day,I can just plug the coffee mug in to the electric outlet in my vehicle and the mug starts to get hot in minutes without waiting a long period of time. Sometimes with the new mugg I feel it's just better to go and buy a cup of coffee versus trying to wait for the smart mugg to recharge and reheat. I feel the entire day would be over at that point. Not so satisfied with this brand.

I bought this a gift. My dad is a coffee lover , I wasn't going to spend so much knowing this can be the same as the other cups. or maybe even better. The mechanics I was able to understand but it took my dad a while to understand how it works, he uses it more than ever even takes it to work. It warms up fast and stays warm for a long period. It was perfect for the winter weather for champurrado and pan dulce.

Likes - I don't drink cold coffee for the last 3-4 oz of the mug, and I don't "pound" the coffee when it's the right temp because I know it will stay warm. Thanks! My charger died after 6 weeks - but the company did right by me and delivered a replacement quickly free of charge. Great customer service. Turned a bad review to a great review. I wish I could recharge it more easily in the car somehow. I hope this mug lasts for awhile! Fits well in my car holder. The ribbing is grippy. I got it as a gift from my wife - and it's a keeper. I do recommend it.Request improvements - I wish it kept the coffee a little warmer than the set temp (mine only keeps it to 135ish - I'd like it to maintain at about 145). Or if you could set the desired temp. Beware: It took a few cups before it eliminated a taste. I don't remember that in my Yeti that this replaced. (yes- I cleaned and rinsed it well before use). The charger did not last long (6 weeks). $50 is a great price -- $80 is a little pricey.

I’ve had this for three weeks and when I first got it, it only stayed heated up for about a half hour and then would shut off. Now it won’t charge to the full amount and will not heat to the full temperature and only stays on for about five minutes and then shuts off.Not worth the price. Very disappointed.

I use this to keep my coffee warm in the morning when I go to work. I have noticed that when it's turned on, it keeps the coffee warm/hot with a temp of around 121 degrees. It also keeps it warm/hot for roughly 3-4 hours at the most. While I wish it would keep things much warmer/hotter than 121 degrees, I really don't have any complaints about the cup. I'm glad that I bought it.

Great cup but the charge don’t last but two hours then you have to charge it again. Not something that can be used all day. Does not hold much coffee. It keeps the coffee hot for the short time and what little coffee that fits in the cup

LOVE the concept, though the price is a little hefty, but the charge only lasts 1-2 hours; BOO! My insulated Starbucks thermos does a better job keeping my coffee hot, and only costs $30 ($20 on sale). The SMRTMUG charge cord is not a standard one, so I cannot even keep one charger at home and one at work. Finally, the flip lid dribbles when it’s open (not the sip hole, but the plastic part that closes the hole). The SMRTMUG is a Nice, novelty item, and a great concept, but for the cost, I would not purchase it again and do not particularly recommend this version. Fix the charge cord and fix the TIME it stays hot and I will re-consider.
