This is sturdier than other luggage straps I have used. The design is a nice touch. Would purchase again in different colors.

My favorite travel backpack doesn't have the built in slot to attach it to the handle of a rolled suitcase, so this strap helps hold it in place while rolling. The strap itself has a nice embroidered pattern on sturdy fabric, similar to a guitar strap. The clasp and buckle are metal, and stitching seems secure, so the item appears durable overall. My backpack is decent size when full, and this strap fits it great. It could also be used for a pillow, blanket, sweater, purse, whatever you are juggling. If I'm checking the suitcase it is attached to, I just pull it off, and store it in my backpack, so I can retract the handle when I hand off the suitcase. The size is restricted to smaller items though. While perfect for a large purse, or backpack, it would not stretch to accommodate a large duffle bag, or be suitable to stack a carry-on on top of a larger suitcase. It also does not have a lot of stretch, so you need to adjust it to fit the specific item you will be strapping in. It has limitations, but is perfect for what I was hoping it would help with (attaching backpack to suitcase), and looks great!

These are the prettiest and lest expensive option I found. Sturdy, too. Fit luggage securely and make it easy to travel.

This strap is perfect to secure my backpack-style laptop bag to my carry on luggage. It probably would not work for a large 'horizontal' bag.The quality and design are impressive and I love that it's not basic black like my bag and suitcase, but still looks very professional. It's a nice accent!

Functional and effective product with beautifully embroidered design. It's well-made and sturdy. The clasp is firm and easy to use. It kept my husband's backpack secure while we were at the airport running with our luggage to catch a flight. The strap is compact and can be stored inside the luggage or backpack while not being used, but the design is so nice that you can actually leave it attached to the backpack as an accessory. It's versatile and can be adapted to different types of bags. Unfortunately, it didn't fit a really large bag I have, but worked pretty nicely with everything else. Although it's easy and intuitive to use, it would be nice if it came with some basic instructions. The luggage strap travel belt is well-made and the embroidered pattern is nice. Be aware that 42” isn’t really a lot, so it’ll only go around a smaller personal-size bag or pillow, rather than a larger bag. It does slip over the suitcase handle to keep it in place, which is great. It’s as described, just will probably pass on because of it’s length. Great item if you know it’ll fit your bag, and nicer than the plain luggage straps.

I have to admit - I ordered this because it has such a lovely design. Figured the plain version, one of the guys can use. But I didn't pay attention to the overall length. Max length is only 42 inches, not the 74 inches like my other plain belt. I've tried it over the handle of my checked suitcase with a back pack & carry on size tote, both stuffed to the width they usually are. I don't think it will work. It works on my little roll-around case (or probably a 20-22 in carry-on) to keep my smaller personal item. For my checked suitcase, I need a longer belt. (Yes, I'm an over packer but for my upcoming trip, I have no one to run to the store if I need something, and I won't have a car. Getting sick once while attending the conference, I now have a mini pharmacy with me. And my carry on usually has enough for 2 days/nights whenever if I don't have my checked suitcase with me.) Before ordering, I would recommend that you measure the item you plan on putting on top of your suitcase to make sure you get a belt that will be long enough. If you're a light packer, this would probably work for you without the slightest issue. I think it would be great present for someone who travels a lot. As I write this review, Christmas is only 149 days away. Not too early to start Christmas shopping ! Yep- I started a couple months ago.
