Great Budget Coilovers – Impressive Performance for the Price!
Installed these MaxpeedingRods coilovers on my 2008 Honda Civic Si and I’ve been pleasantly surprised with the results. For the price point, I wasn’t expecting top-tier performance, but these exceeded my expectations for daily driving and occasional spirited runs. Installation:Fitment was spot-on. Everything lined up well and installation took about 4-5 hours with basic tools. The instructions could be a bit clearer, but if you’ve done suspension work before, it’s pretty straightforward. Ride Quality:Definitely stiffer than stock, as expected with coilovers. It’s firm, but not unbearable. You’ll feel bumps more, but it adds a more connected feel to the road. If you're looking for comfort, these might not be ideal—but for improved handling and a sportier ride, they hit the mark. Adjustability:Height adjustment is easy and holds well. I was able to drop the Civic just where I wanted it and it gives the car a nice aggressive stance without being slammed. Haven’t played with damping yet (note: some versions don’t include damping adjustability), but height adjustment alone adds great customization. Performance:Handling is much tighter. Body roll is significantly reduced, cornering feels more precise, and the car just feels more planted overall. It's not track-spec performance, but for a street car on a budget, it’s more than enough. Durability:Only had them on for about 3 months so I can’t speak to long-term reliability yet, but so far, no leaks, squeaks, or issues. Time will tell, but initial impressions are solid. Final Thoughts:If you’re looking to upgrade your suspension without breaking the bank, MaxpeedingRods coilovers are a great choice. Not perfect, but unbeatable for the price. They give your Civic Si a much more aggressive look and feel, and the performance boost is noticeable. Just know what you’re getting – budget coilovers with solid value.

Amazing Ride Quality!!
I was looking into buying a set of coilovers for my 10th Gen Honda Civic but I didn't want to spend $1,200 on a higher end set, I've heard of Maxpeedingrods before but they were known for having bad quality control but these fully updated COT6 coilovers are simply amazing, the install was a breeze and the quality is superb, the ride quality is amazing, not bumpy at all, they feel solid for the price. I'm glad I pulled the trigger on these amazing coilovers, take my word for it and purchase a set for your ride. Thank You Maxpeedingrods 👍!!

horrible product
waste of money and time. literally blown from the factory. i wasted time putting blown suspension on the car. and no its not my first time installing coilovers. struts are trash, strut mounts pop and clunk. literally unsafe to use and all in less than 200 miles. you get what you pay for, dont cheap out on your suspension. i only wanted to see how these compared with some other brands and theyre not even usabe smh.
