This has been amazing! No wrestling the cheese grater to get shredded cheese! I can grate an 8 oz block of cheese in literally ten seconds. Disassembling it and washing is very easy. The plastic does feel a little cheap but it still feels durable. I recommend it!

Purchase to shred cheese finely and quickly does the job very well. Also love nut grader does a great job with little effort easy to disassemble and clean

EDITED: After 2 attempts to contact the company about this via their website and customer contact page, I came here to leave a 2 star review. Only then did I get the company's attention - they did send me a replacement part. I am upgrading this to be a 4 star review. The only other weak part is the large end of the rim where the different cheese blades snap into. That has now cracked but is still usable. I do appreciate they sent a replacement, disappointed I had to jump through so many hoops to get it.This is a great cheese grater with various options for the type of shredding, and the product description is that it's dishwasher safe. About 3 months into owning this product and using it about once a week for cheese only, I noticed a crack in the chute to feed the cheese to the grater. The product still works but I'm noticing the crack is getting bigger as time wears on. I've contacted the company Zulay and I got zero response (I even enclosed the pictures). So for those reasons I'm going to have to give this only 2 stars. I wish they could give me a replacement for this part or make it so I could buy a replacement for this part.

Usually items like this are just gadgets. But this item is worth the money. It makes it easier to grate, cut and slice all of your chesse and vegetables. It also does it much faster then just by hand.

Absolutely fantastic tool! We make homemade pizza every Friday night and only use block mozzarella. Grating using a pyramid grater took a long time and never got good consistency of the grated cheese. This is a very sturdy design with good materials that feel solid. Sticks to the counter really well and cuts a full block of mozzarella in under 5 mins.Clean up is more than a standard grater but it’s completely worth the convenience to get the cheese completed so much quicker.Good quality, great tool!

I bought this model after 2 days of doing research on many brands and models. I am glad that I did. I tried this for shredding mozzarella a soft cheese for pizza and it did the job really easy and fast and that was 2 8 oz blocks. I tried it for hash browns and again it did the work fast. The chute opening is large and does not clog. The only issue I see is that if you have old tile counter tops it will not suction so I put it on my stove and the base sucked down real easy and sturdy and did not move. No problem so if you have flat counter top it should work great. I like the fact it cleans up very easily and swapping out the blades is quick and simple. I like the blades case but I wish it had a lid and blade identification names but does not. They should label the blades as well but do not. I went to YouTube and watched a video and saw what each blade was as thecmanual pictures of the blades is black and white and not clear. In the end this is a 5 star item and no more stubbed fingers from my box grater. Buy it as you will not be dissapointed

I had the old fashioned one called the*Salad Master" my mother gave to me to make my life a little easier. It came free with a tv advertised pan set that could be stacked on top of the stove on top of each other to cook a entire meal. It was a gift that kept on giving. This is the modern version of that Salad Master. The pan set name escapes me but it was a very nice set. I missed my gift from my mom.💔 Thank You for giving me back something precious! I am so looking forward to using my nice new unit!🥳the always tastes good coming from this,the speed of the unit is smooth, fast, durable,not too large,easy to change the cups,Strong Plastic Material with stainless steel built in to cut with and a nice tray of different cutters for the variety of veggies or cheese that's very sharp and well made also can be stored with ease and it is easy to use.

I bought this because it had good reviews but I just got frustrated using this. I was cutting potatos and it kept coming off the counter. I kept trying to reapply it on the counter but it kept popping off. It sliced ok but a regular grater would be just fine. Don’t waste your money .I want to amend my initial review and give 4 stars. While this did not work well slicing potato, it works very well for slicing cheese and softer vegetables. I also realized my counters are not smooth so it fastened better on my stove service.
