We purchased this pump because the vendor offered a 1 year money back guarantee, never thinking we would have to use it. However, after 2 weeks of enjoying our fountain the pump quit working. We followed all the trouble shooting steps given to us in the booklet and still did not work. My husband noticed that the empeller was frozen, which was the problem. I called company customer service and spoke to a very kind women who was polite and through. She requested a new pump be sent out, free of charge and in two days the new pump arrived. That pump was installed a few days later and to our surprise, it did not work properly and then stopped working entirely. Yes, that was frustrating but I called customer service again and this time all the operators were busy but 1 hour later a representative called me back. ( I did not request a call back). I told her what had happened and she immediately requested a new pump to be shipped out. I heard back the next morning that we would be getting a new pump in a few days. The emails I receive from Poposoap include a transcript of the phone call and the follow up, which is quite impressive. I can highly recommend this company based only on my experience with customer service as we have yet to have any success with the pumps. However, I do feel that the service I received would continue.

Like I said, when the sun is very bright and fully hitting the solar panel straight on, the pump will run, but if there is any shadow, clouds, or the solar panel is not directly facing the sun, the pump slows to a barely there status. And on top of it, when the pump is on full blast, it 'blasts' the nozzle right off the top, making the fountain just a spout from a tube. The pump itself is good. There could be a battery feature that would at least help with poorer light conditions and consistency in the pump running. And if they figured out how to do a locking mechanism to hold the nozzle options on, this would solve a big issue. But alas, none of these are a feature of this unit. I can't recommend this item without the expectation of coming up with some hacks to make the item function as promised.

have used the pump twice. First time it worked great the second time it was shutting it's self off intermittently. I may have to return it after seeing today if it works OK.

This is the best solar powered pump I have used and I have tried quite a few as i have two fountains that are away from electrical sources. This one has a generous push of water (height in my garden at 3 feet) and works continuous with full sun and tapers down when losing the sun, as expected. The solar panel seems quite generous compared to other models I have purchased in the same price range. I have had it installed now for 3 months with no issues. Definitely would recommend.

I was worried that this pump wouldn’t pump enough water for my water feature. I was wrong, this pump works well and pumps a lot of water. Looking forward to the summer when it’s running all the time.

Totally insufficient for anything over a foot of spray in the air--use it for a small, small area like a birdbath or tiny shallow area. Don't expect the water to reach very high. We got nothing like what was portrayed in the pictures. This has a larger pump which we thought would give us more spray, but it did not. Bird bath type use only.

Pump stopped working 2 days after install. While it was working, it did pump water the advertised 6 vertically while the solar panne was in full sun.

The pump works perfectly, however, I contacted the supplier three time regarding purchase of their suggested battery backup pack suitable for the 30W pump and the additional 10Ft. extension cord and got no response.
