This is a 100% wool rug at an incredible price. The color of the ivory has a great design and is bright, but not overbearing. It is very thick and substantial.Liked it so much, I order the 7.6 x 9.6 the same day the smaller one arrived. This not a flimsy floor covering and it will last decade. It is made just like my other wool rugs that were triple the price. Some reviews complained of shedding. Wool rugs do shed.

This is a nice rug - but the color is much lighter than the picture here - way more of a light beige base rather than this sort of gold color.

I have bought this brand of rug before and loved it. I bought two of these rugs - same color but different sizes - to match in two rooms. After receiving them and rolling them out, I noticed that they had little yarns coming out all over the place. It looks like they had not been caught into the rug. The picture shows these imperfections and they are all over both rugs. I bought one rug from Amazon and when I went back to get another one (before opening up the Amazon one) they were all sold out at Amazon. So I found the exact same one in a different size on Overstock.com. After opening them both up and rolling them out I saw that they both had these imperfections. I vacuumed them constantly thinking it was wool fuzz but after months of vacuuming both, the little yarns are still there, sticking up and you can definitely see them all the time. I reached out to Safavieh and asked if they would refund my money or at least replace them with rugs that don't have yarn sticking up all over the place. They refused and said this was normal for the rugs. I looked at my other Safavieh rugs (wool ones as well) and there is no yarn sticking up marring the appearance. So to sum this up - if you like imperfections- buy the rugs but if you want a smooth finish on your rugs, look elsewhere. I had always thought Safavieh made exceptional wool rugs and that is why I bought them but they do not stand behind their products.

I have never purchased a Safavieh rug that I didn't love. They are quality rugs. I purchased this rug in the 3 x 5 size to place beneath a coffee table. It is a very warm ivory color with a delicate pattern. I have had no shedding issues, however, if you do it is to be expected with a wool rug. It was a good purchase!
