This set of gel essentials from Canni is a great buy. I was a builder in a bottle hater for a long time since there are so many terrible products on the market. I loved to do uv hard gel with a soft gel overlay for color, but time is not an unlimited resource and doing hard gel properly can take a big chunk out of the day.I know that biab is always going to be so much faster so I really wanted to find a biab that I liked. In the last few years I wasted a ton of money on biab products that were so thin or gloopy or flooded everywhere. I basically wanted a thick consistency with limited movement and this set delivered on that. It was so much faster and less effort than uv hard gels.My top favorite thing about these gels is the brushes. They have incredible brushes with a lot of fibers. At the tip of the brush the fibers are less dense and it makes the application so easy. It is like impossible to flood your cuticle/side of nail with the brush.The consistency of these is a medium to thick viscosity. It’s perfect. The product doesn’t move around the nail by itself. It doesn’t travel to pool up in problem areas like the cuticle or sides of the nail bed. They do self level slowly if you flip your hand upside down.I did use a longer cure time of 120 seconds to ensure a complete cure for every layer. I use a 48W lamp and that cure time left the gel very solid. I do 60 seconds of cure time holding the lamp at around a 15 degree angle to my table to keep product from falling into the cuticle. Then I do another 60 seconds with the lamp flat. Took me about two hours including soak off of my old nails. I do my thumbs totally separate from the other nails though.Each of the gels is awesome! The top coat came out super shiny.To make sure my review is accurate I only used this set and one of their gel colors. I definitely recommend trying these out and I will update on the overall wear in a couple weeks.EDIT: I didn’t make it two weeks because I was too bored of the color and I tried to soak it all off. This stuff did not soak off for me! I filed off the shiny layer of top coat and the first layer of color then soaked it in acetone with a hot water bath below for 15 minutes, which barely touched it and I had to file off. I ended up just doing a fill and changing the color.There was like NO lifting which is super unusual for me! I had better retention with this than any hard gel or builder gel I have ever used. I still recommend this product but just be aware of the fact that it will NOT soak off!

I've been looking for a nail polish that does not require two coats. I have to say that I've finally found it! This nail polish is absolutely beautiful, the colors are so vibrant, coverage is on point with one coat!!! It's definitely worth the money! Cure time is at your discretion but a full 60sec is perfect. Application is very smooth, beginner friendly. CANNI knew what they were doing with this product!

I have tried a variety of brands and so far this has been the best one! I have purchased several more options of colors for brand as I can say so far the durability has been better than other, the ease of application is better as well. The only struggle is at times I notice a little slipping occurring during application of lighter tones which I haven’t quite understood however, so far this is great overall. Other brands have burned my skin and this one doesn’t, it’s professional design, feel and thick. The drying time varies for me but once I get it down I think these will be great! Colors are also pretty true to what is shown.

The colors are vibrant. The actual brush and bristles are contoured aand nit blunt. ...perfectly shaped to get maximum coverage on the nail and as close to the cuticle without contact with cuticle. 60sec cure time. Long lasting shine with same brand top coat. Smooth ..it's almost creamy consistency.I purchased all different sets and colors..... you won't regret buying this brand.

I never leave bad reviews but I HAVE to warn people about this! I’m a licensed cosmetologist and have been doing my own nails for like ten years and I’ve NEVER had a reaction before. I do all the right prep, use a good curing lamp, avoid the cuticle and the skin, etc all the right things and these are honestly the worst gel polishes I’ve ever used. They’re somehow goopy and thick but also sheer and you can’t clean them up before curing. They’re thick and runny and make a huge mess and still don’t fully cure under the light. You can do the most beautiful perfect polish work ever then you stick it under the light (for an eternity) and the polish somehow runs all over the place and floods the cuticles and your skin. Then you try to file the side walls and perfect the shape and it’s STILL not cured no matter how long you leave it in the light.I’ve been trying so hard for the past two months to make these work and I just can’t. I tried again on my toes a few days ago and it took forever because I had to work so hard to make them look somewhat nice (still not great). Last night I woke up in the middle of the night with my toes on fire, I felt like I was stung by a thousand mosquitoes. My toes were so painful and itchy and red and super swollen, gross! I literally got out of bed at 1:30am to remove the polish because I couldn’t sleep they hurt so bad and were getting worse by the minute. I tried to soak in acetone but it wasn’t fast enough so I actually just used a little tool and scraped off as much as I could until the morning. When I started scraping I realized that none of the gel layers under the top coat cured at all! This product says it’s hema/allergen free but this is THE product that caused the gel reaction.Literally every aspect about this product is bad, even down to the polish squishing out of the bottle every time you close it. I don’t like wasting things and I like to give everything a shot and figure out the best way to use things, but I gave this product too many chances and shot myself in the foot (HA! Or toes). This is not the kind of thing like “oh it didn’t work for them maybe it just wasn’t a good fit and it’ll work for me” PLEASE DON’T. This is not like a mascara that everyone loves but smudged on me, this is much different. Please DO NOT take the risk!
