Sakura 57385 3-Piece Gelly Roll Blister Card Metallic Gel Ink Pen Set, Gold

I got these to use as a doodle pen over watercolors - it works great. Pen writes/draws smoothly, and the shade of gold is just lovely.

This is what I was looking for to do wedding invites. It shows up on white and colored paper, it comes out of a medium point and is easily controllable. Works especially well for gold accents on the letters, makes it easy to correct freehand mistakes. It smears a little if touched but you can work with your picture and smooth it out very easily. Amazed by the color - perfect gold with a bit of shimmer! Thought this would be a sham due to low price, but if you need a gold pen... this is it!

I am in love with Sakura Gelly Roll gel pens! These are absolutely my go-to pens to add color to whatever I'm working on. I use these a lot in my collage art, but I also like to use them to add some metallic love to thank you cards, my calendar--whatever I can think of. The metallics are my favorite, and the gold does NOT disappoint. I will splurge on this brand because the quality is much better than the gel pens I can buy at my local stores.I have noticed that the metallic Gelly Roll pens tend to go on a bit thicker than the regular colors, so keep in mind that it's harder to use these when trying to make fine details.

I used gelly roll gel pens many moons ago, so when I took on a project and found myself needing a gel pen I could count on, I knew just where to look! I bought the three pack and ended up with one dead pen which was disappointing but the other two worked flawlessly. The ink is smooth and the color was vibrant and there was no need to retrace my words like I find myself doing with my other gel pens. I definitely recommend these!!!

Holy cow these pens are amazing! So smooth and thick. I used them to address my wedding invitations and the ink just rolled out like butter. Just a tip, speed writing with these pens is not ideal, but if you're not in a rush, they are amazing

I bought these pens a couple months ago and they were really good on ONLY black paper. I try it on toned paper or white paper and it comes out really bad. I recommend finding another brand for gold pens.

I bought these to address black envelopes and they've done a great job. They're comfortable to write with, the ink flows smoothly, and the gold really sparkles on the black paper--very eye catching and easy to read.One pen lasts through about 100 envelopes, so they do run out a bit quicker than I'd like, but not enough to deduct a star because they're so excellent otherwise.I was concerned they might drag against the paper, skip, or smear and they've done none of these things. They dry quite quickly and I haven't had any smears or smudges (I'm right handed, though, so I'm not touching the ink immediately).A really excellent gold gel pen!

I was looking for a pen in gold that would write on ceramics. This one fit the bill just perfectly. I used it to paint in 'many' small stars on a Santa Claus coat. This pen saved me hours of painting and fixing when I would have made a lot of mistakes just trying to paint the stars.I know the pens can be used many ways - this is just how I used them. Actually I only used one and it has plenty of ink left. I plan to use them for Christmas cards this year too.This was a great buy and with Amazon Prime the pens arrived in two days.Thanks.

Smooth flowing ink, only con is that you have to be careful not to press down for too long in one place or the ink will form a little puddle. Aside from that it is exactly what I expected!
