Dorman 603-383 Pressurized Coolant Reservoir with Cap Compatible with Select Buick / Chevrolet Models

Five stars. My old coolant tank was yellowed, weathered, and leaking at the seam. I do Amazon Flex deliveries on a lot of rough, unpaved roads, so it finally gave out. I replaced it with this one and it fit perfectly. It’s the same tank they sell at AutoZone but for about half the price. Installed easily and works great. No more leaks. Very happy with it.

I had to replace my reservoir because the manufacturer installed part developed a crack on the bottom which leaked when the system pressurized. While I was able to get the original one out by just removing the one clip and supply/return hoses, I had to loosen my battery and slide it slightly forward to get the new part installed due to the electrical cables on the backside of the battery being in the way. I like that the supply/return hoses are reinforced with metal tubes and that the top to the reservoir has a few more threads added making it more secure. The full removal and replacement of this part took less than 30 minutes and only required a screwdriver to remove the clamp and pliers to remove the supply/return hose clamps. You may be able to get the new reservoir in without moving the battery, but I wanted to be safe rather than risk damage to an electrical cable. Dorman brand seems to be the route to go if you are looking for parts that are higher quality than OEM while still being lower cost in comparison.

Perfect replacement part for my 2013 Chevrolet Cruze 1.8L. I was having an overheating problem on a car I bought where the previous owner said the engine needed replaced because of a cracked head. Turns out, it was simply the radiator cap not holding pressure, allowing the coolant to boil over. This container and cap combo was only $3 more than the cap itself. It has upgraded metal inserts in the hose fittings making it stronger than the OE part. The fit was perfect. Very happy with the purchase. Fixed my engine completely!

Product is great, worked good for my 2012 Chevy Cruze. My car did blow up recently though with an issue due to the coolant all escaping but it wasn't from the reservoir. So would recommend. Also was easy to install and fit how it should've.

A much better design than the OEM. This one has steel inserts formed into the hose attachments.

This was for my 2014 Chevy Cruze…. a very needy car lol. It was so close to the original that I couldn’t tell any differences. Fits like a glove. I don’t use this car anymore but I used this for about 6 months after changing the reservoir. The only leaks I came across was not putting the hoses back tight enough (operator error😂).

This is an excellent product and comes with the re-inforced inlet/outlet pipes that probably won't break off like the originals. Fit perfectly into position on a 2013 Cruze. Very happy with this purchase and was particularly pleased to find a "brand name" product for a great price rather than an anonymous product with unknown heritage. Recommended.

Excelente relación Precio/Calidad, antes de seguir diré que se instaló en un Cruze 2015, primero fui a las tiendas locales de autopartes y los reemplazos los vi de calidad inferior así que confiando de la fama de la marca DORMAN lo compre, este tiene refuerzo de metal en las dos conexiones la superior y la inferior (el original solo trae refuerzo en la superior) es casi idéntico al original y se siente y se ve de buena calidad, tenía mis dudas porque había leído reseñas donde comentaban que venía muy pequeño la conexión superior y simplemente no alcanzaba a sellar, me pasó!!!! Fugaba por ahí pero no es problema del depósito, ya que lo medí con bernier y miden casi lo mismo, el problema en si es la manguera que ya tiene moldeada la abrazadera, simplemente cortas aprox 1cm de manguera donde esta la marca de la abrazadera y listo cero fugas. También leí comentarios donde decía que el tapon dejaba escapar la presión, yo no tuve ningún problema de este tipo, como dije es un buen reemplazo del original a un excelente precio, solo toca ver cuanto dura.
