It will hold a passport and enough cash for a days worth of shopping and museum hopping and still have room for a credit card or two and a couple keys. The string is very long, but easily shortened to your desired length. I haven't worn mine under a tight fitting shirt, but under a looser shirt, it hides quite well. This is flimsy material, and it has just one snap on it that is not the best, it is flimsy just like the whole item. Im afraid that the snap on this will not stay closed, and thats all it has is one snap. I have looked at others that have a zipper, that is what i am going to get. This is going back.
