G7th Acoustic Guitar Capo with Tin - Gold Finish

I've been using this for a while now; it's a brilliantly designed capo. A bit expensive but it does the job very well, it looks great and is top quality and it also comes with a lifetime warranty. This is a great capo! I hesitated to buy for a few days since some of the reviews reported that this type of capo was difficult to clamp properly, causing buzzing and dead spots.I've had none of the problems above. The mechanism is a little different from a spring capo (which I've used up until now) but it only took me about three attempts to master it - it really is simple.Also this is easily the most effective capo I've owned. No buzz at all at any point on the fingerboard (well certainly not to the 5th fret - I don't ever clamp capo's any higher than this).But the real advantage for me is how well it stays in place. I play finger-style and when moving quickly up and down the neck it's easy to deliver a glancing blow to the capo. However faintly you knock a spring capo it will move slightly which can often cause buzzing as the pressure on some of the strings is altered. This doesn't happen with this capo at all as its heavier and doesn't have a spring or clamp grip sticking out.Also it looks great! I know, hardly the most important thing but this gold finish version just looks so good on the neck.This is quite a bit more expensive than your average capo. But the point is this isn't an average capo. It exudes quality.This capo won't be to every guitarist taste but I love it.

This is my third G7 capo, two for guitar and one for banjo. Best capo on the market. Easy to use, reliable and really good looking. What more can you ask? A great piece of engineering.

Just received this today and it's excellent. I'm a guitar tutor and have the classical one already, this one is for my electric guitars 10/10 great packaging from seller too arrived on time couldn't ask for more .

Exactly what I hoped it would be. Easy to use, works as well as any other capo (although you do have to fix it very close to the fret to avoid any buzz), and looks terrific. Very happy with this purchase.

Brilliant capo. Special edition with tin. Checked out Denmark Street stores and was more expensive (twice the price of Amazon) and not even special edition without tin. Used on both acoustic and electric and kept the tune on my Telecaster.Great buy. Delivered a day early. Happy me.

Having owned the silver version of the G7th capo before, this was a welcome edition to the family. I leave it with my gold-hardware guitar, to keep the look throughout. Despite the color, the capo is actually made of a heavy metal - unlike it's lightweight silver model.This is the best capo I've ever performed with. Its mechanism keeps your guitar in tune from latch on to latch off. I won't be switching to another model until the G7th has a big brother.

No screws to turn,no fine adjustments,just place between the frets and sweeze,and you're done.The quick release lever works great.Time will tell how it holds up.I call it "Bling" for my guitar.Loaning it might be a mistake.

I bought this as a gift for my younger brother who plays avidly. He absolutely adores it to the point that I had to get a black one for myself.
