Works very well
Used this during a multi day hike through knoydart and it worked very well. peace of mind that it also filters viruses. only negative for me was after filtering water and storing the thing, water from inside would leak back out the bottom. if I had some way to seal the hole at the bottom after use. it wouldbe a bit more practical.

Works Well But You Have to be Prepared
This is a useful device and does appear to folter the water quite well. The long straw makes it easier to use, for the less flexible amongst us.Several people have mentioned that water leaks back out of it, when you store it after use, and this is a bit of a nuisance.The main criticism I have of it, is that it needs 'priming' before you use it, by running fresh water through it. Having activated it, it is good for a couple of months. This means that you can't just carry it around in case of an emergency - it needs to be prepared. And having done that, it needs the filters replacing a few weeks later.A nice and useful device at a good price, but a short life-span.

Super handy to have and keep in your camping bag. Or if you're going to an area with poor water quality. Works perfectly, easy to clean please remember it doesn't change the taste just takes away the nasties!

Clean water
Clean waterThis is great. I never felt safer travelling and drinking from any tap or even from a stream.Going to the beach and just get water from the tap is very easy for me and my son. I no longer have to carry a lot of bottled or filtered water all the way to the beach when we had this.Very useful when camping and you can drink from any water supply.I have not tried using this with extremely dirty water, so I could not attest to the fact that it will turn murky water to clear and filtered water but I did use this with water collected from the public water closet and this filtered it from slightly chlorinated smelling to really fresh filtered water.Did not took a lot of space in my bag which is a great factor when travelling and going outdoors.I will definitely get this whenever we have a holiday or camping planned.
