Thread Repair - Heli-Coil
Real nice set. Taps are cheap Chinese taps that you’ll have to replace with quality American made taps sooner or later. We’ll wither price though.

This is a really nice kit IF you know what you are doing. which at 73 I might not and more.I would have liked Spark Plus threads as well.

Brittle
Seems to be overhardened so that they are brittle. First time using them to fix a damaged nut and 2 threads on the 7/16-20 chaser chipped off. I suppose they got the job done, but I consider these only useful on one-time use difficult to replace threads. Otherwise spend the money on spare hardware sets
