I am not sure if the people who answer these questions have any real world experience or not, it appears not. There are many different types of Stainless Steel, this #22195 is 302 series and is slightly magnetic due to some iron content, I work with it daily and have for 15+ years, I manufacture parts with it and use a magnet to sort them. Precision Brand also makes 316 Stainless, it is non-magnetic and considerably more expensive
