nice gift for my oldest great grandson.

After reading the reviews I was nervous. It's very cheap so I took the risk. Wanted to see if I'm a pocket watch guy. Not only has it been running constantly for weeks with no issues, as far as I can tell it hasn't lost more then a few seconds over that time. Also it will run nearly 2 days on one wind.

Bought this for my grandson who is "into" mechanical watches. He loves it and it keeps great time, but my concern is that the glass front and back panels are somewhat fragile and not replaceable. I would suggest this as a keepsake item rather than a daily use watch.

When i opened the box, i found one of the watch's hand fell off already. Very disapointed. I like the design of this watch but the quality is very bad.

Always like steam punk

This is such a beautiful watch! The pictures don't really do it justice. (I got the round silver version.) I purchased this watch because I don't like wristwatches. It's a little difficult to read because of all the mechanics but it is definitely a work of art! This would make a great gift, especially for anyone who's into Steampunk. Highly recommended!(Edit) The only negative thing I will say about the watch is that it does not come with an instruction manual (or at least mine didn't). It is a mechanical watch so it must be wound but there's no indication of how often to wind it. It has stopped working for me a couple times but I just had to rewind it and all was good. So now I wind it to its maximum every few hours just to be sure. (Once it reaches the maximum amount of winding, you won't be able to wind it further.) But it would be nice to know how often to wind it. Also, pull up on the winder to set the time, then push it back down to wind it. Other than that, it is an amazing watch and work of art!

I purchased this as a stocking stuffer item for my some in law, he likes pocket watches so I figured this would be a good little gift. It's really quite nice for the price, I handled it briefly as I removed the internal plastic before I wrapped it. It felt nice too. It's a cool looking piece; I think it actually look better in real life then as pictured here. Cool gift for the right person.
