Update International (TCD-12) 12 Oz Turkish Coffee Decanter

Being a new drinker of the Greek/Turkey coffee it worked great. However, having been a several cups of dark roasted coffee per day, I had a difficult adjustment to the small amount produced. Being recommended by my Cardiologist to help lower my blood pressure, I finally adjusted to being satisfied with two cups per day. The pots design is great on my rather large stove burners since the handle is long. It cleans easily, and can hang on my cup holders. It has helped me cut down on a 60 year habit of drinking no less than seven cups per day. My blood pressure has really been lower. BB

I haven't used it a lot, but it seems to work pretty well. Not super easy to control the temperature, but for the price is pretty good.

I just received a package of coffee from Istanbul as a gift and needed the right pot. I've never made Turkish coffee before, so I wasn't looking for anything fancy. As far as I can tell after two uses, it works fine. Like some of the other reviews have said, my handle wiggles a little bit. Not sure if that's intentional, but I think a turn of the screw should fix that. It definitely makes enough for two normal sized cups of coffee (not the tiny espresso cups or giant soup mug sizes).

We use this as a frothing pitcher to heat milk for our coffee. We had a couple other ones in the past that didn't sit quite right on the burners for our gas oven, and it often resulted in spilt milk. Or the handle would heat up and I'd have to wear an oven mitt to pour it out. We also have a smaller one with a wood handle that always catches fire when I turn the burner on...This one sits well, we don't have to worry about it tipping over, the handle not only remains cool, but I also don't have to worry about it melting. Which is always a good thing:)

I just gave it 3 stars in general because the x-large one is like small

Great product. Only reason not a 5 star is that I thought a longer handle would have been ideal.

Does what it supposed to, heats up small amounts of liquids. It’s certainly not a “heavy duty” design, but for the price, it’s exactly what I wanted. The metal does not seem to be “inferior” in any way. I haven’t had it for very long, but the quality of the build seems consistent with the price point
