Brilliant Activities for Reading Comprehension, Year 2: Engaging Stories and Activities to Develop Comprehension Skills

It's a good practice book for compression. I bought it for a 6 years old child and I found it very useful for extra activities at home.

Excellent range of topics covered. Easy to use, well laid out and the children enjoy the work.

Used for Year 1 pupils. This book range are pitched a little bit low in my professional experience.

I like the range of genres. Each text is followed by questions, a Vocab focus and extension activity suggestions to incorporate writing. I have purchased Y2, Y3, Y4 and Y5 of this publication. (Teacher/Tutor).

I have used the ks2 series of these books at my tuition centre for a while and am always impressed, so decided to try the ks1 books. Again, these are great quality and really help the children improve their comprehension skills.

This is a great resource for supporting children develop comprehension skills. I have previously used the Y4 and Y3 books - they were also fantastic!
