The suction cup doesn't work at all and the clips don't have anywhere to clip onto. the weight of the jack cable will make it want to come off. The wires get in the way making a tangle with your hands and the bellows and it's terribly difficult to position. A simple, delicate design for an awful lot of money.Use phantom power otherwise the battery will frequently run out and when you want to change it you have to fiddle about amongst the wires and chipboards to change it.Can't be used on stage due to intolerable feedback - omni microphones? plus if you knock one with your finger while performing the audience will certainly be covering their ears.I've only given 2 stars as sound reproduction is good and would be ok carefully used in a studio.

A neat, small and tidy piece of kit that performs well at a very reasonable price. Just what a musician needs. I made a minor modification by removing the suction cup and replacing it with sticky backed Velcro simply because I wanted to attach it to a surface which was unsuitable for the suction cup. The sound quality is excellent through my ceilidh band's Alto Mixer, Crown Amp and Bose 802s. Just what we need since we advertise that our sound system is 'crystal-clear' . I love it and so do the other musicians in our band, So much so that our wind and strings man is considering buying a 'Feather' to use on his flute. whistles, mandola and acoustic guitar. If you need such flexibility too I commend this little gem to you so you can do what you do best- play music!
