Impressed with the quality and features.
I’m recovering from a ruptured Achilles tendon. I’ve been having heel pain and I think it’s bursitis or Achilles tendinitis. A regular heating pad was hard to keep around it. This thing works perfect. Very impressed with the digital read out and the features. Back screen, timer., you set the temperature and as it heats up, it slowly rises on the screen. The brace works good to keep the foot in dorsiflexion, giving the tendon and plantar fascia a nice stretch at night. I was surprised by the quality I would recommend this device, especially for the price.

Nice but way too hot
Great concept but hard to put on & it gets dangerously hot... i wear 2-3pairs of socks then put this on until it gets too hot. Im a burn survivor you could definitely get burned with this product if you aren't careful

The Heat Feels Nice
This heating pad for plantar fasciitis is a pretty nice product. I did have some trouble getting it onto my foot because the part of the brace that goes around my calf did not want to stay in place. I think that there should be some sort of loop on the left side of that band so that the strap could go through it and it would stay where it belongs. The other straps were not as difficult to get into place because they all have specific destinations to loop through. Honestly, I feel like you could use just the ankle piece (which is the actual heating pad part) and it would still feel soothing, but it wouldn’t hold your foot at the appropriate angle without the brace. Once everything is strapped on, it is easy to use. You plug the remote into an outlet as well as into the heating pad and use it to control the settings. It has a power button as well as thermostat control buttons and timer control buttons and they are all pretty self-explanatory. There is also a light button that controls the display screen light. The heating g pad goes up to a maximum of 158°. It is a nice, cozy temperature. I would say that I felt significantly better the next morning after using this for an hour before bed. So, I would recommend this product!

Works Better Than I Expected
I have occasional discomfort in my heels and when it happens I typically use an ice boot for relief as I felt that was best for inflammation and discomfort. When I saw this heating pad, made specifically to fit on the heel, I decided to give it a try. The packaging is nice and would be giftable, though I got this for myself. There is an instruction manual made for an entire line of products with only one page, with very small thumbnail images, actually for this device. Between zooming into the small images with my phone and referring to the box I was able to figure out how to setup everything for use. There is a section that wraps just below the toes and runs up the top of your foot to the ankle and has a metal bar that you bend into the appropriate shape to hold your foot in place while heating. You then put on the boot, which is the part that actually heats, and attach it to the brace with various velcro straps. I am sure you could use the heated boot portion without the brace, but it would be harder to hold in place and you would be inclined to move your foot around which could reduce the effectiveness of the heating. The heating pad has great controls that are very intuitive. You can go to a max temp of 158 degrees - I find about 135-140 works best for me. You can set a timer as well which is handy for me as I tend to use this while reading or watching TV so could easily forget the heat was on and potentially cause issues. You can switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius for the display and turn on/off the remote light as well. The cord has been plenty long enough for me to plug a little distance away.Overall, this has proven to be a very nice heating pad and would recommend it if you have foot discomfort!

Complicated contraption NOT suited for wide calves or treating heel pain
Bought this to help with Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome in my left heel. I had hoped it would serve double duty: as a heating pad as well as a replacement for my hard plastic night splint. "No" on both counts.First, the straps on this thing are RIDICULOUS. Trying to figure out what goes where took me a good ten minutes or more, and the whole time I was thinking, "And I'd have to go through this every night? AND every time I need to use it, which is at least 3 times a day?!"Second, unless you have pencil-skinny legs like the girl in the picture, it won't fit your heel properly. Mine are 12" in diameter at the top point of this heating pad where it needs to attach....nope. I tried all sorts of adjustments but could not get it to fit right. There is a gap beneath my heel -- the ONE area I bought this specifically to treat.Pros:- Material is super soft- Heats up fast and stays warm, maybe even too hot, which can be adjusted with the temperature setting on the controls. So if you have skinny legs -- and a good dose of patience -- this may be a great heating pad for you. For me it's right out: going back to Amazon.Oh, and btw, this "CAMECO" brand is identical to "JOBYNA" brand, as you can see in the photo. I did a video review of the JOBYNA Ankle Heating Pad, which had fewer straps but also the same not-for-wide-calves issue as this CAMECO one. Seems to be a white-box situation and likely several more "brands" that are selling these same types of heating pads, fyi.

Heating pad for the foot/ankle
The media could not be loaded. This is really nice to have for plantar fasciitis. You simply just put it on your foot. And you can control everything with the remote. It has the temperature control where it can go up to 158 degrees. It also has a time setting, you can set it from 10 minutes to 90 minutes in which is nice. I definitely gets hot enough to soothe the pain.
