Nice Radio
Very nice radio with good features. There's a little learning curve getting familiar with the settings and functions of the controls.Didn't take long to get it dialed in to meet my needs and performance was actually better than anticipated. Made several contacts with good reports on signal and modulation. So far very happy with the quality of the receiver and tone of the built in speaker. This radio is designed to cover several different frequency bands and the conversion is very simple. Seems to be a good value for the money.

WOW Great radio!
This radio is awesome! Out of the box with no mods I had 24-30 Mhz. On 11 Meter I have to turn the power way down as it peak at over 100 watts AM. I've only made one very short 10M contact ( I had an emergency spring up in the middle of contact and had to sign off abruptly so not confirmed ) but with power at 14% at forst contact was still 5/9.I highly recommend this radio.

Best and quietest receiver of all exports
4 decades in radio hobby, the qt60 pro with adjustable noise reduction blows away all the older quiet receivers of yesteryear. To note, this radio, the quad5N2 pro, short case ,newest version, Cost less than stryker 955 and every bit as good, uses same s/rf meter as well. Needs no " tune", performs excellent put of the box. With noise reduction on level 2 or 3, the recueve is quieter than my cobra 148 side mic, uniden grant xl, and the rest of the " exports", had them all, from galaxy 88s and 99s to all the rangers and many others. Better radio than new president washington, which is loaded with white noise, even with noise reduction on, washington has noisy, overly sensitive receive. Mind you, the new stryker 955 plus, anytone quad5n2, and radioddity qt60 pro all share same board, where as the anyronr quad 6 and president washington share the same board, with a harsher noise receive. I have all of them, there is a difference in receive noise between the mentioned models. I run rf gain wide open on this radio, no need to turn down, amazing receive. Quieter receive with noise reduction on than my 7300 or 991A, and works great on am and ssb, something the hf rigs lack on am, so for those looking for best 10, 11 meter rig for freehand and ssb and am use, this radio cannot be beat. my rci 2950 dx was my favorite ssb radio, until I used this, receive is much better, and audio is not that raspy ranger audio, very clean and punchy. Even with tone mod / hicut filter mod on 2950, white noise still present, not so with this radio. Also runs 4 hg2879s quite well, 40-50 watts in,.produces nice clean audio and amp will last for years. Tested a good 10 mics with this radio in base, the delta m2 sounds very good, but first choice, as others have said, is the handheld k-po microphone, cheap plain looking mic but seems meant for this radio, also the k-po sounds best on washington and quad 6 pro, I compared against silver eagle d104 lollipop, turner plus 3, galaxy desk mic and extreme 2018 to name a few, again, hands down, k-po was winner in audio sound, to.my.own ears and group of locals all agreed. Weak point of this radio id say like others have mentioned, the channel selector knob, feels a bit loose/play, but with preset memories and ch up down buttons on mic, should not be much of issue. Mind you, stock mic works very well on this radio, close to k-po 532 mic in audio, but the k-po definitely has an edge to it. I also tryed drilling wider hole on stock mic to note if anything changed with audio, as some stated it helped with mod, I noticed no difference really. In summation, for price of radio and what u get, no bringer, grab 1, I have 2 of them, 1 for base and 1 for vehicle, display is nice for day or nighttime use, no blinding blue led lights. No holes to drill, switches to add channels etc, these radios have it all ! The digital noise reduction is a real game changer, now u can have a mice.new rig with receive that will rival a cobra 2000 or old president washington receive, took some years, but technology finally was implemeted and the old radios are now strictly nostalgia, bit rest assured, theyre quiet receivers are no longer top dawg . Perhaps software update in future will allow display to change from orange to white and or grey. Stay away from any and all new rangers, full of white noise, overpriced ed junk prone to failure. Go with radioddity, these radios cannot be beat. And if it doesn't last 30 years like your philly made 148, who cares, u probably will not be here in 30 years anyhow, and you'll want to buy a newer model in a half decade or so, as we now live in a disposable society. Hope this helps fellow radio hobbyist in deciding on trying 1. No regrets, radioddity a good company also, better customer support than most today

Amazing 10-11-12-15m radio
Love this radio . Right out of the box made a connection 1000 miles away through skip and has a good feel to it and heavy . Very clean radio and for most this has the same board in it as the Striker radio for half the price. This was the best deal for the buck and arrived 3 days. Has so many built in features . I watched like 20 youtube videos before i jumped on this deal. This is a rebranded radio know for many names but this Q60-Pro is the latest version out. It's got the roger beep and echo if your into that im not but cant beat the Power and the channels. Im not being paid to post or sponsored by anyone. This will make a nice mobile radio or Base station with a good power supply. This needs a NICE power supply due to the power it can do.

Great radio for the price and for its intended use.
If you are a technician just dipping your feet in the HF world, this is a great place to start. I hooked mine up to an eBay dipole and got the antenna tuned before turning up the power and calling for a radio check. I got an answer after just a couple of calls from a HAM in Los Angeles. I’m in Kansas City. I started running up and down the 10M HAM frequencies listening for people and heard several people contesting. I ended up talking to several different contacts in Macedonia, Spain, Mexico, Saint Lucia and multiple different US states over the course of less than an hour. The signal reports I received were all strong. With all of that said, it’s also a very limited radio by HAM standards. It only covers the 10 meter band (a band that’s only open during periods of high solar activity) and if you plan to pursue a General license or greater, then I’d suggest starting with a radio that covers more of the HAM HF bands.

Best 10 Meter Rig Yet!
All I had to do is snip one wire and move a jumper over and now it's a 10, 11 & 12 Meter Radio. I've made some contacts on 10 Meters & 11 Meters so far and it does about 80-90 watts on SSB. I've also used it on AM & FM and those work great, too.

Randomly ships?
The title of the add says qt-60 plus. I was shipped a regular qt-60. The difference is the ability to use digital modes. When I called Radioddity, they told me they ship the two randomly. What!? They refused to help at all, even though the difference is probably just a firmware update. I will never buy a Radioddity again.
