Awesome Piece Of Kit
I really like this for my go to mount easy to set up and holds a lot of power. This one has a usb as well so you can use multiple items at once,I am goint to make a splitter cable to give me mutiple 2.1mm dc jack connections. This hibernates when not in use and once connected to your scope setup you simply press the orange circular power button and it automatically wakes up and powers on so very easy to use and when finished it simply goes in to hibernation mode and stays like this until you press the button.I would recomend this and i give it full marks 5 stars.

Good quality powerbank
I now use this solely for my dew heaters but I could run my Nexstar 130 SLT for 6 hours without issue. I find that Celestron makes a lot of stuff which is cheaper than most so you can get started in amateur astronomy without taking out an extra mortgage. Don't be fooled by the price though as the quality of their products are excellent. This power bank is no exception and I definitely recommend it.

Good choice to power a Celestron telescope
This has a very good capacity and my use of it has not taxed it at all yet, although it has yet to be tested on a very prolonged observing session. The choice of lights is useful and so is the addition of the USB charging ports, although these cannot be used at the same time as the 12V output for the telescope, which is a small downside. The strap to attach to the telescope tripod legs is a little loose of the Celestron NexStar scope I own, but it is certainly still usable. Although anything which is attached by a cord to the movable mount of the scope needs care to be taken that it is not getting too wrapped up as you observe, this is not too onerous and is definitely preferable to the two choices of eating through AA batteries or having a long and inconvenient mains power cable/extension cord setup.

Celestron power tank for telescope
Celestron power tank li-on battery bank. Good robust build quality. Nice and strong. Works for upto 10 hours. Has built in light Red and White 2 power settings. Also 2 usb sockets. Comes with strap to attach it to tripod and one that clips to the top or bottom, but the way it attaches is very poor. Also the power tank has a lid the covers the USB’s and controls but this is rubbish very poor design must have used it about 20 times and it’s broke on one side. Little expensive. Would recommend it even though it little expensive very useful.

I LIKE IT A LOT
Trust celestron to play on words, its Lithium ferrite, its a LiFePO4 they are good basically a small leisure battery a very good one at that if you look after it comes with a 16v charger i changed it for a 5v sure it takes a lot longer to charge but I will still have mine 10 years from now, batterys do not like fast charging and it will defo shorten the life of your celestron lithium ferrite battery 🤣🤣 its a LiFePO4 and you do need to keep your eye on them they dont like heat or extreme cold, LiFePO4 batteries offer a longer lifespan than lithium ion batteries, with the ability to last up to 10 years in the right conditions. On the other hand, lithium ion batteries typically last around 2-3 years. This is due to the chemistry and materials used in their construction. Of course, lifespan can also be affected by usage patterns, charging habits, and other factors, but the general consensus is that LiFePO4 batteries outlast their lithium ion counterparts.i hope this helps

Died after 2 years light use
An expensive mistake, a good piece of kit as long as you don't use it outdoors where it can get damp. The plastic cover over the USB connectors and power switches breaks off after a couple of weeks use and startts to allows moisture to ingress. This causes the power switches to have bad contacts so they become difficult to operate then the metal straps that connect the power cells corrodes away to nothing leaning the power pack completely dead. On stripping this down to see it it could be fixed I found many weaknesses in the design including a small circuit board that was covered for insulation purposes by what only can be described as Sellotape. AVOID!

Unfortunately the battery doesn't come with an adapter that suits standard western European wall sockets - contrary to what is shown in the picture and in the manual! Even though I have bought the fitting adapter, battery doesn't charge which seems to be relatively common problem based on other reviews here and numerous forums in the field of amateur astronomy.

I bought this battery back in December 2021. I like it because it's lightweight and packs good power for his size. Last a full night with all the telescope equipment. However after 6 months of use, when I was connecting it for a night of imaging, it flashed the lights and then died. Tried to charge it, but looks like the control panel of the electronics died :( ... I opened a case with Celestron support, and after a couple messages explaining the situation, they just send me a replacement battery without major fuzz!
