Loftus Star Power Stay Dry Rainbow Classic Umbrella Party Hat, One Size

Very cute! The umbrella is the correct colors (rainbow). I got it for my 7 year old as a part of his halloween costume. We did test it out in the rain today and it served its purpose. It is made of plastic so you may have to keep it up to keep little hands from breaking it but it is sturdy and nicely made. It has a nonadjustable elastic band to fit it around your head but is comfortable and stretches out pretty big if need be. I will probably get another one for my 3 year old as well!

This keeps my head extremely dry and safe from the rain. It, to some degree, is also fashionable.

My quirky six year old wanted to be an umbrella, door, or yogurt for Halloween and I couldn't figure out how to do the other two, so we went with umbrella. The inside is a little uncomfortable so she wore a sweatband underneath. I can't say how it would actually function in the rain but for her costume it was perfect.

It was Purchased for funny gag gift for a pride festival in florida..we.got caught in unexpected rain storm with much wind..it held up beautifully in the intense conditions we did not expect..its a super item at super price..awesome umbrella and fun too..everyone wanted one.

And absolute, total hit! I bought it for my son who is an automotive technician and on rainy days, has to run in and out pulling cars into the shop. The guys laughed so hard and he actually wears it..we never got so much fun out of $4!! It is not a super sturdy product, but for what it is...perfect!

We bought four of these hat umbrellas for our vacation with our grandchildren. While this umbrella hat is a novel and fun idea, it turned out to be dangerous, as the spokes from the umbrella came loose from the stays and stuck out. Being that this could've poked the wearer in the eye, we disposed of them. Not a good buy by any means. You really do get what you pay for.

I guess for a few bucks, I shouldn't be surprised. But I guess I'm olde fashioned in that I expect a purchased product to actually last more than one day. I'm always caught off guard when something is poorly made.This hat is very cheaply made. My twelve-year-old son was VERY EXCITED to finally get his umbrella hat. The first day he wore it, the cheap support that supposedly "anchored" the elastic band to the rest of the hat fell off.Before he can wear it again, we have to sew the elastic on to the metal supports. It shouldn't take much to fix, but it shouldn't have to be us that fixes a brand new product.If you purchase, do yourself a favor and take a few minutes to sew the elastic through the holes in the metal supports. It'll save you time and disappointment.
