We love this because it's metal, has and adjustable clamp, can screw on to other bases, and extends.It seems like you always have to choose between those features with other brands.

A month after purchasing, the pin holding the mount popped out. Good thing it happened in the glove compartment and not on the water on my jetski and I would have lost my $600 camera.
