Pretty good for a beginner got it for a 9 year old

I haven't used it yet but got loads of crochet bits in and it's a really well made bag.

This kit is absolutely worth the money just for the amount of different items you get in it. You'll have all the sizes of crochet hook you need, loads of stitch markers, even scissors! There's stuff in here I'm still not sure how to use! However, the reason for 4 stars is that the quality of yarn is not great. Especially for beginners, it's much easier to learn with yarn that's a bit thicker and doesn't fall apart so easily. I ended up ordering yarn separately and have found that much easier to use. I do recommend the kit as a whole though, as you really will have everything else that you need, and it all seems great quality apart from the yarn.

This item is perfect for anyone who is considering learning to crochet. It has everything you would need to start your first project. I would definitely recommend it.

Not only is it in a little showerproof case that unzips all the way flat, it came in a waterproof drawstring bag! This is a gift so I’m snaffling that drawstring bag for something else 🤣 the case is pretty and soft. Lovely details. And inside. Well There is every hook you could ever want. Big and small. Balls of yarn which is soft not scratchy like I expected. Cable needles and darning needles, Pom Pom maker i think? Stitch markers, snips, tape measure … the list goes on and on. This case just pop in the car on in your bag and everything is there that you would ever need. It’s going to make a great gift for a budding yarn crafter. Or an experienced one

This caught my eye as ive only the large size crochet hooks. Didnt know there were so many tiny ones. These items come in a lovely padded case. Room to store my old ones too. Huge selection of tiny hooks. Havnt tried these yet but have handled them to feel how easy they will be to use. There is the usual flat piece that says what size and thats where id say you hold them. 9 larger size hooks have rubbery hand grips on them. Brilliant idea. Different colours too, so would be easy to change from one to another, great for beginers and those of us with ageing eye site. I would say that the tiny ones are more for delicate work. So this set is brilliant for both beginners and well established. It would be nice to have a single hand grip to push the very tiny ones in, same way you use a drill bit. One size fits all idea. Plenty of little clips and bits and bobs for some harder work. And the best tape measure ever. So sad to get excited about such a small item. Very Happy.

Reasonable value for money. Inside of case poorly finished- not sure how long it will last. Contents: Rubber handled hook set is lovely. Very vibrant colours and a great range is sizes. Metal hooks are basic and functional. Plastic darning needles are a waste of time, space and money. Metal would be preferable. Tape measure is great. Plastic cable needles- not sure why these are even included. Knitting guage/roller is useful. Yarn is cheap and cheerful. Stitch makers are great and these will be useful. The section for hooks is detachable which I’m sure will be very useful. Case is very basic. Hoping that the recipient finds it useful
