It’s so full of love and warmth, so well-written, so gorgeously illustrated and so comforting as it teaches kids that, if Kermit can learn to love getting ready for bed, then, “you can, too!” The kid (and the reader!) will fall in love with Kermit and his dad and their beautiful world of love, trust and safety. Negrete’s verses and absolutely stunning art instantly transport the child (and the reader!) into Kermit’s world, where lessons of daily living are learned and lived out, with the assurance of exceptionally kind parental love as the warm light that suffuses every aspect of the text and gorgeous art. * * * “Kermit Gets Ready for Bed” is amazing bedtime reading. You will love reading it aloud to your kid as they snuggle up to you and learn from Kermit how wonderful getting ready for bed can be. And as the final wind down, the book ends with a maze titled, “Help Kermit to Bed,” that your child—after having been lulled with Kermit by the beautiful story and the warm, loving illustrations—can trace with his or her finger as a way to finally help them enter dreamland. This is seriously one of the best (and most useful) children’s books I have ever seen. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Regardless of your age, this book is the perfect way to end your day <3 The story of Kermit and his dad makes the tedious steps of bedtime routine, fun and magical. I love how this book empowers dads to connect with their children (furry or human) by actively participating in moments as special as bedtime. In this story, Kermit's dad is portrayed as loving, caring and taking on a positive and assertive parenting approach. Kermit also shows the beautiful nature that children of all kinds posses in wanting to experience life fully even when they feel tired and do not want to go to bed. Artistically, the book has beautiful graphics that accentuate the two main characters. From the orange tones to the loving facial expressions and signs of affection, anyone who reads this book will not only have their heart melt, but also dream of being Kermit one day. What really put me over the edge was the poem that Kermit's dad wrote to him. I could not contain the happy tears!!!!! For those cat lovers out there, you need no explanations: cats OWN our heart. For those of you in your way to becoming serious cat lovers, this poem will make you feel the power of unconditional love. Kermit and Javier, we are looking forward to more adventures!!!!

This was a delightful book, with beautiful illustrations and a lyrical text. It’s a short story, so perfect for bedtime reading. I follow @mrkermitmeow on Instagram and the relationship between Kernit and Javier is so precious, with Kermit willingly sharing kisses, so I was happy to see that a goodnight kiss was part of the book. Well done, Javier.

This children's book is perfect for the young child up to about 8 or so. It teaches on a fun and very easy learning experience on how to get ready for bed even as our animal friends also do. The illustrations are beautiful and very appropriate so that a young child who can't even read yet can understand the steps to do that activity even if there is no adult around at the time to read it to him/her.

This is a great little book with beautiful artwork and story. Children are sure to love Kermit and his dad, and all the colorful pictures that are in the book telling the story.

My kitties and I loved the book. They loved the pictures of Kermit even though they don't know who he is. My little kitty fell asleep as I was reading it. Was well worth the purchase.Thank you Javie and Kermit

This book is darlingly written about a bath and bedtime routine for Kermit that applies perfectly for young children. Javie did a phenomenal job crating this into a sweet book.

This is a great book for children and families. I love watching the instagram videos of Kermit. An adorable cat!
