Best gadget ever
The media could not be loaded. I use this for everything, view security camaras, watch a show or movie, temperature, jokes, white noise to sleep instead of a sound machine. I don't have to turn on the TV for the weather or news. When you turn off the lights it dims automatically. It has so many uses. Kids can use it for homework help. I use it for receipts, listen to music. Radio stations, questions, anything you need and answer is here.

My second Alexa because it works well; love the large screen.
This is the second Alexa I've purchased from Amazon. I had the original Echo for many years. This new model features a much larger screen, making it easier to read. It is just as efficient as the original, but I really appreciate the addition of the screen. I highly recommend it!

Helpful device to have.
I wish it would cycle my photos more. Lots of ads. Good music suggestions based on what I’ve played before. I really enjoy the games. I bought it one sale. There is a newer version but this one is great for me.

Convenient and Sturdy - Great addition!
I recently purchased this adjustable stand for my Echo Show 8, and it has been a fantastic addition! The stand is sturdy and well-made, providing excellent support and stability for the device. The adjustable tilt feature makes it easy to find the perfect viewing angle, whether I'm watching videos or listening to music.I also appreciate the sleek, minimalist design that compliments the Echo Show perfectly. It was simple to install, and the magnetic base holds the device securely in place. If you want to improve the functionality and flexibility of your Echo Show 8, I highly recommend this stand. It’s a small upgrade that makes a big difference!

Cooking is now much better!
I love my Echo - I use it in my kitchen when cooking to watch shows and movies. i used to have an ipad with a separate speaker and constantly one or the other needed to be charged. Having the system all in one and just one plug is the best part for me. I dont have a huge smart home or use it to the full of its abilities but the small use I get out of it, is amazing - worth it!

Excellent Accessory for the Echo Show 8
This stand is perfect for the Echo Show 8. It is aesthetically pleasing, besides allowing the Echo device to be tilted just right for viewing from any vertical angle. Set up was incredibly easy, as one might expect, but honestly, it took me less than a minute to unpack the box, open it, remove stand, and attach it to the Echo device. I would advise anyone who purchases an Echo Show 8 to go with the bundle.

A good device with mixed UI usability, and ads on display in your home.
The Good:- Good speaker quality for music. Very comparable to a full size echo. Plenty good for kitchen music playing.- The screen is bright and visible.- It can play content from streaming services.- Works with Amazon Alexa smart home (Ring and Blink cameras).- Has excellent range for "Alexa" commands- The wallpapers on the rotating home screens are beautiful.- Alexa is a decent smart home voice assistant. Not amazing, but good. She can show you cameras, play videos, music, etc. She does misunderstand music requests fairly often, to the point that we laugh at her mistakes. The Meh:- At times the device is slow to respond to touches and swipes. Not awful, but noticeable.- The UI is a mixed bag. Some screens are designed great such as the Weather and Video screens. But others are awfully designed. On the smart home screen, the tiles are huge , taking up 1/3rd of the display only to show temperature. The widgets on the home screen are tiny and display no information. No smart home toggles on the home screen. The music screen is OK.- In standby mode the echo rotates through the home screens, your recently played content, and ads. You're forced to wait to see what you want, or to tap and swipe the screen multiple times to get to what you want. I would prefer 1 primary screen on display full time with time/date, calendar, and buttons for videos, music, camera feed, and some larger widgets for favorite smart home controls. Instead you have to swipe down twice, tap 1 screen to go to, then repeat the process to go somewhere else. Not well thought-out.Cons- Ads are on full display in your home, like a tiny billboard placed in your kitchen. They're not too frequent, but it's still annoying to have yet another location Amazon is shoving products down our throats.- The echo show looks very generic.- No live feeds shown from cameras in Smart Home or Cameras views. Why? I pay for a monthly Ring plan.TLDR: Do I recommend the Echo Show 8? If you have a home full of Amazon compatible devices and it's on sale, then yes I do recommend it. The Echo Show 8 does help round-out your smart-home experience. But the frustrating controls and poorly designed UI screens make it a chore to use. In many ways its a simpler + better experience to stick with controlling your smart home and music through your phone.
