I share an office space with a moveable wall...will this cut down noise from other side or should I use foam suction?

Hello, we are mainly used in the recording studio to absorb medium and high frequency noise, can not block the noise.

Will these help to block sound thru door if put over it? It says “not suitable for blocking sound” but says “tends to disappear the original sound.”

The manufacturers says not for sound proofing, are any sound blankets? Would this work to put over doorway to reduce sound and vibration coming thru?

I was under the impression, that sound proofing was the objective. I have used it as such. My purchase was 96" x 80" approximately. It has grommets on two sides to hang either vertically or horizontal. It is quite thick and I suppose that a moving blanked might work. I purchased to cover a large sliding glass door in my recording studio. It's quite effect in kicking down ambient noise from the outside. The other effect is during my region's terrible heat wave, it serves as an insulator. It would certainly help.
