Johnny Bob: The Life and Times of John R. Harrell of Louisville, Illinois

O'Dell writes well and did all the requisite research on his subject. It seems to cover most of the important facts and events concerning Harrel's eccentric. and erratic life. Best of all it was not overtly critical but simply told the tale as it was. An honestly written chronicle.

The driest book I ever read. It took 6 months to read. The writing is monotonous and strove to explain the obvious things written. Took 6 months. The pictures were the best part.
