I like this case as it is nice and would provide protection for my Bose Buds. The unfortunate thing is that the qc2 buds and the Ultra have a very similar case except that the charging hole on the bottom of the case is in a different position. I have the newer Ultra of the 2023 model. Maybe on the older model of the Ultra the hole is opposite. I still think the case is good and would provide the layer of protection you need

The case overall looks good, it's not completely dust proof...the case also comes in 2 pieces and is friction held in place, which is a little of a problem for the top piece which slides out of place sometimes. I have a different brand for my old ones that came with a double sticky tape on both the case and lip part which held together really well specially when droped.

Purchased this case looking for something to keep me from breaking My earbuds and this does the job just fine. There are other cases out there like the smaller silicone case but a friend at my work has it and it’s always sliding off. This is great. Can’t go wrong.

Top piece easy to be dislodged, what’s the point of having a latch on the front to hold the two pieces together if there is no attachment on the back?

I originally purchased a leather snap pouch for my sons Bose QuietComfort 2 buds, but he didn’t like it. (I did like the leather, so I kept it for myself). He wanted this one, and as long as it had a latch, which this case has, I’m good with it. I was surprised that there were no sticky double faced tape included like the case for original Bose QuietComfort buds had, but I figured it was worth a try. To my surprise, the case fits like a glove and no stickies are required! The latch fastens well and the buds are secure. I do recommend this protector for your sizable investment in the Bose QuietComfort buds. (BTW… this case fits the QuietComfort 2 as well as the new QuietComfort Ultra).

Just as others have noted, the case is a perfect slip fit. However, the inside reset button extends and causes the case to reset and become disconnected from the cell. It is defective. I had to return it. It was my top pick. Find another case.
