I always find a pair of adjustable pliers (or 'water pump pliers') are a handy tool to have around ever since I bought a household tool kit with a (albeit rather cheap and nasty) pair in it.Even given the low quality of my last one's, I found they lasted quite well, and were very useful so I decided to buy a replacement to keep in the toolkit.I'm not a professional, just a DIYer so I didn't need 'professional' quality. I've had Silverline before and know that, despite being inexpensive, they're reasonable quality and that's exactly what these are.I've used them a couple of times - they're nice and sturdy, do the job and are a very useful addition to my motley collection of tools I use in and around the house for those little tasks that seem to be forever cropping up!

Well made... Weighty... Sturdy... Did the job of opening a jammed stopcock. Excellent item

i am a 200lb guy who gyms daily ... there was a nut stuck on shower hose could not get of with pliers.. spanners .. wrapping stuff round it .. heat nothing would budge this thing tried for hours seriously damaged my hands with the amount of force was applying through fingers.. ordered this as a last ditch effort before i ripped the thing of the wall ... did not have high expectations pliers had done nothing with in 10 seconds of it arriving the nut was of with ease .. worth every penny would of paid double happily

It is well made , worth for the money and does the job. Satisfied overall !!

What can i say. Feels comfortable in the hands, the jaw has a wide opening very sturdy.. I'm only a home diyer, not sure if they would stand up to constant use. They do the job for me.

Strong study pliers. Used to remove and replace sink waste.

Good quality grips and manageable size.Should do all the jobs that need this specialist tool encounters.
